  1. As bad as they are, there's a particular reason why I'm looking for a Rev 7. Thanks, Steve
  2. Best offer guys...it's brand new with the on-screen menu. No dipswitches! I spoke with Sean today. He's not making these anymore. Thanks, Steve
  3. ...who is located or would ship to the UK? Thanks, Steve
  4. Nicely done! And ever so much more organized than my collection. Mine's strewn all over the house! Well someday when I have a nice big rec room like that I'll do it up nice! Steve
  5. Thank you to everybody who weighed in...here's what I got: Ultimate History of Video Games Supercade Phoenix: The Fall & Rise of Videogames High Score! Zap: The Fall & Rise of Atari Arcade Fever I've just started Ultimate History and it's very engaging. As to Phoenix, Amazon had copies going for $100! Why is this? I picked up a new Third Ed. (2001) for $25. Is the original edition the valuable one? Steve
  6. The day I called O'Sheas to inquire about my big order of 80 cent 2600/7800 carts, I inquired if he was going to replenish his supply of those carts he had run out of. His reply was that he probably wouldn't and that the next day he was raising the price to $2 a piece with a minimum order requirement. I checked the site the next day and sure enough that's what he had done. Therefore, I might have been the last person to by 80 cent carts from O'Sheas! Steve
  7. Thanks for the quick offers guys but I forgot to mention I'd like to sell the items as a lot only. Thanks, Steve
  8. Hi guys, Since I've had my Cuttle Cart 2, my working Supercharger seems redundant (I have a sealed one anyway). What I'm considering selling is a Supercharger (referred to as SC from now on) modified to work with Lee Krueger's Worship the Woodgrain CD set, the WTW CD set itself (which contains about 400 VCS ROMs on it), and the Stella Gets a New Brain CD set with all the Starpath games on it. The SC will come with its original box if I can find it in the garage. The CDs come in cases with all original documentation. I think I have an extra logic chip or two that was necessary for the SC mod...just in case the chip inside goes bad. Need to find those also. The SC was purchased new about 2 years ago. Everything works fine...just add portable CD player. PM me with your highest and best offers for the lot. I haven't totally decided to sell...it depends on the offers. Steve

Anyway, I got a signed screenshot from Andy Fuchs as a companion piece. My thanks to CPUWIZ, Dan Kramer and Cassidy Nolen and Rick Weis/Marco who have made this post possible by selling/trading me their proto carts  Steve
  10. I have a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card to spend. But which book is worth the money? Thanks, Steve
  11. Hey, anyone out there got a SWITCHLESS one for sale or know where I can get one? Mine just suddenly croaked and Sean hasn't answered an email from me in many a moon. Steve
  12. Here's a pic of the lower pot showing the Atari p/n C018118-2-07:
  13. Curt, Thanks for add'l info on my, uh, Type 1 self-centerer! Is this supposedly rare? I assume it was never released. Here's a better pic of the two spring-loaded pots:
  14. Guys, This is definitely not a homebrew...the one pot I could remove has an Atari part number on it that I have referenced in my humungo parts listing (also thanks to Dan Kramer). The other pot seems to have been glued in place. I'll try to get a better pic...I hate taking off those S/P/R bezels though. One more note: the keypad doesn't seem to work. Thanks, Steve
  15. Hey guys, I was just using this stick I got from Dan Kramer a few weeks ago (along with the 5100 proto) and was wondering why Super PacMan was so easy to play...the stick was self-centering!! So I opened it up and noticed the pots definitely looked different from any I had seen before. See the little brass arms and the springs? What do you guys think? I didn't think Atari ever released a self-centering stick for the 5200. Steve
  16. Ah, got one of those CBGs already...thanks Rick! I wish I paid $200 though!
  17. I think I'm getting one and wanted to know what anyone who owns it thinks of it...you know, the usual...ease of operation, compatibility, file formats accepted, coolness factor, etc. Thanks, Steve
  18. Hiya SpendToo, Any takers on this cart yet? If not, any chance of a slightly lower price? I have funds readily available. Thanks, Steve
  19. I like Sentinel for the VCS but don't like any of the 7800 light gun games...they all seem to suffer from very poor aiming. I am told it is mostly a software issue but the XE gun doesn't help. Steve
  20. So have we accounted for five 5100s? John Hardie Curt Vendel Mitch Keita Iida me
  21. A quick follow-up: It doesn't seem to be compatible with the VCS adapter...I tried a half dozen various carts. Here's a shot of the joystick ports as requested:
  22. More answers to queries: I don't own a 2600jr and my 5200 is currently being modded for s-vid...I can take a pic of it next to a 7800. I haven't yet tried a VCS adapter in it...I will tomorrow. I'll have to open it up to see about the shielding...again tomorrow. @sku u--I will take a pic of the js ports tomorrow. Steve
