Here it is. 3-16-2007 I just picked up another video game handheld console The grape color Game Boy Color....$9.99 Just like new, never played shape.... Add that one to the records... and tomorrow I am picking up a clear purple GameBoy Advance for $19.99 just like new in box... What is the newest add on in to your collection?

Atari and Nes stuff for trade or sale
Christopher T Leach replied to Christopher T Leach's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade

With all the good stuff coming out of the forums about "Price Hikers" I felt the need to start a new topic, so here it is. What makes a person want to start collecting Video Games and why do I always seem like I am trying to collect for too many systems? I go out of my way to purchase these systems that i do not even want and then I am addicted to getting gams for the system. I picked up a 3DO the other day because I got a good deal on it. Lets face it, the #DO was worse than PS1 and the games are even worse. Does anyone know of any good games for the 3DO. I picked up a japanese Sega Saturn the other day with 5 games for 70.00 and i dont even know why. There is no Japanese Sega Saturn store around me and I do not buy much on ebay anymore, so why would I buy it? Maybe somebody needs it. I will just hold on to it until I come across someone else to sell it to? NO!!!!! I cant resell it, once I have it Im not sure when I will see it again, let alone even buy it again. My current system count is sky high. Ive got the following: 1 sega saturn japanese 1 sega saturn american 1 jvc x eye 1 panasonic 3do 7 or 8 nes 8 bit systems 3 or 4 super nes 15 or 20 atari 2600 4 or 5 atari 7800 2 atari 5200 1 atari jaguar 4 or 5 gameboy colors 2 psp 4 or 5 ps2 1 ps3 1 xbox halo edition 2 neo geo aes 1 neo geo cd 1 neo geo pocket 3 or 4 sega genesis 1 odyssey 1 sega cdi 2 nintendo 64 the list goes on and of course i find myself picking games up for them all the time. I am out of money and I cant stop buying video games. I think buying video games could break up a happy home. Where does this need to buy more come from? Who got you started buying video games? Why does sony want to stop the obsession by making their ps3 only play 1 title and then you can not resell the game. leave your thoughts

Gotta add another game store in Indiana into this forum. I once bought a ton of atari games from here complete for two dollars apiece. they have since gone into the Nazihood of selling used video games but they are still worth checking out for rare stuff all the way back to atari and odyssey. the place is called McVans. they were descent at one time but not so much any more. also check out the atari warehouse. video61. they are somewhere in Wisconsin i think, but their prices have gone way up. i bought a brand new in box factory sealed atari jaguar for 100 bones 5 or six years ago. now they want 249.99 what the XXXX either way game stores are somethin, i prefer flea markets. like the dixieland on dixie highway in michigan near west bloomfield. good finds once in a while,. i introduced my buddy jboypacman to a flea market in harrison and also bay city and he goes there to find goods. i once got frogger II threedeep for 3 bucks then the guy tried to jack up the price after i bought it? how do you do that???? no clue

Do You Think It Is Cool For Video Game Stores To Give You $2.35 In Store Credit For Your Classic Game And Then Sell It For $22.95? If you do not think this is fair then you need to review this forum! "Game Traders", A local video game store in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan thinks that is the ok practice. This makes me furious and I can not take it anymore. "Video Games Plus". A local video game store in Saginaw, Michigan thinks that it is ok practice and they are worse then that. I sold them a factory sealed copy of Guitaroo Man for the PS2 and they gave me $10.00 in store credit. I go in there the next week and it is in their display case for $80.00. How is this fair? Final Fantasy VII PS1 Greatest Hits $149.99? Are you kidding me? A close buddy traded in his super nes, final fantasy II, final fantasy III, super metroid, final fantasy VI for the advance, super mario world, a couple other super nes titles and got one PS1 game, lunar silver star and it was missing disc 1? When the owners were confronted they said the kid was trying to rip them off and they opened the game box in the store to show the kid there was 3 discs. This is cool but the third disc was the music cd. Why rip off the children of our future? Has anyone ever been to a video game store and they just raped you? Where are the descent video game stores in Michigan or in the USA that you think we should shop at? I will say I have personally stepped foot in that Trade-N-Games store in Auburn, Missouri and that store really had some fair prices. As far as buying goes, his rare stuff was priced above fair and his common stuff was practically free. I am personally sick of all the price hiking on classic games. If the store has a title and it is priced $22.95, you might think that $2.35 is not a fair price for a trade in credit wouldn't ya? Another good store in Michigan to buy from is "The Game Exchange" in Midland Michigan. His priced are fair and his cash credit is better than EB games for sure. If you need a good game like Mega Man X 2 it is only $30.00 bucks last time i checked. That is not too steep... Then there is "Game Hits" in Lansing, Michigan that guy is the stuff. Ive bought 2 Neo Geo AES systems from him now and each time I think I am getting a better Deal. And you cant forget "Game Hits" in Muskegon, Michigan. The owner is a cool guy as far as guys go and he has some descent stuff once in awhile. Both Game Hits still accept trade in on Strategy Guides.!!!! That is pretty sweet! There is a game store in Grand Rapids, Michigan cal something like "Vide-its" or close, but he operates out of his front porch to his home. Kind of tacky but I picked up about 100 Atari manuals and catalogs for $20.00. Fair is Fair. he said 20 i said ok. He carried all the classics and then some. I cant think of many more but the price hiking needs to stop. Why would you sell Donkey Kong Country SNES for almost $24.00? Im confused because you can buy it at Game Crazy whenever they have it for $4.99. Why would "Video Games Plus" sell madden 2001 on the N64 for $14.95? Why would they sell Tapper loose for $65.00? These prices are ungodly and they need to be talked about. Concerned gamers, think you are getting ripped off? Leave your post here! I bought Final Fantasy VII greatest hits at Game Crazy in Salt Lake City for $3.33. I bought Pirates! Gold at Game Crazy in Reno Nevada for $3.33. Those are good finds, but there is no need to sell them for masses of money to pay your rent by ripping off little kids, let alone rip me off!!!!!!!!!!!

Trade-n-Games in St. Louis is cool
Christopher T Leach replied to rixdafix's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Trade-N-Games was the coolest place i had ever been on my way through to anywhere! This is chris from michigan and i just saw this thread and wanted to say hey to jason. i know i have not made it back to your store since like some years ago when you had the xbox car, but im sure i will be in the future. i just got married in december and my wife and i drove across country to california. we stopped at game stores here and there but we did not find anything as cool as Trade-N-Games was in missouri. i know they have an online store and their prices are the best. thanks for the thread and if you guys are going through missouri stop in st louis at Trade-N-Games -

hardcore nes collectors
Christopher T Leach replied to wrldstrman's topic in Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) / Famicom
im into nes 8 bit a little. ive got the goods but i need more boxes and instruction manuals.... im into to many games and systems to just collect for one system. i just recently found a studio II system and 10 games. 9 boxed and 1 loose cart. that system sucks ass, but i heard it was a good find. either way. my game library is well over 5500 games.......i still have to list my atari 2600 carts in my spreadsheet but i have almost 2000 of those. sure there are doubles and all but what does a harcore atari collector do when he has almost every one of the old atari games already, but buy more. sure there are boxes if you want to break your bank or you could move on to the home brews, but they cost too much. i collect ps2 games and when you get a new ps2 game for 20 bucks or a new atari 2600 cart for 20 bucks i must say i have to be the first to complete the ps2 library so im gonna spend the 20 bucks on a ps2 game. JUST TO MENTION.....nice feed on those stupid girl video game swimsuit things. dp did that a long time ago and i found out how gay they are so here is the atariage.... people are cooler here ....? right????? IVE GOT NES MANUALS FOR TRADE IF ANYONE HERE TRADES FAIR... PM ME -
Items for Atari 2600 manufactured in Brazil
Christopher T Leach replied to Sr. Ferraz's topic in Atari 2600
all of the carts of mine are wrapped in shrink wrap to save the label from anymore obvious damage. the games have been sealed for 6 years now and they still work. every so often i open them and test them to be sure, but everything of mine is in plastic. either way. the japanese game is the one to the right of the ghostbusters. as for label ends. i was just trying to get these carts out there into the public to let poeple know that they exist. it will take a little mroe time, but i will try to get those names on there as well. some of the games just come with a sticker on the back and that is how i know the one game is chuck n/hero thats all that is listed. i have about 100 more i could post as for pics but some of the carts do not have end labels. most do but some do not so i will not have aname as for every cart that is posted. -
