He's got paragraphs about how it's been rigorously evaluated, and expertly judged to be the absolute top of the line Atari 2600, akin to a BU (brilliant un-circulated) super rare coin or a simply flawless crystal clear diamond. He's got everybody's opinion listed, including those who specialize in antique "Toys" and games - everybody except a person who is knowledgeable specifically about Ataris! Someone who grew up with Atari -someone who still plays Atari as a full adult! He either believes all the bullcrap coming out of his mouth, OR is a greedy bastard hoping a naive, rich person will come along and just pick it up since it is sealed history and all. Sealed adds, sure, but it doesn't add that much!! Hey iwan? or other sealed collectors, what's this really worth a couple of hundred? Top quotes on this maybe 1200....maybe 1500....maybe even 2000, but that price is insane...Jobyt if you read this show scott....

OK....so I am going through my games to get together each and everyone one of my two thousand plus Atari 2600 games and I come across something that I had almost forgotten about. And I'm thinking to myself..."You got to be kidding me!" Now that I think about it I do recall adding this to my collection.. So here it is...I have a brand new mint in box Playstation 3 console...the one that came with Motorstorm for free...I'm pretty sure it is backwards compatible, but why do I have it? I already have the 60 gig that has never had any issues that my wife bought for me around time we got married....because it just came out and I just had to have it and whoe else could spend Six hundred dollars better than myself... So the question is...Should I keep this one as a backup or just tuck it away to find it again on a rainy day sometime in the future? What would you do if you had two Ps3's or do you have two and why do you have them? I have two because my wife bought one and I won one at a stupid convention....Lamest convention I ever heard of...."1,000 Game Crazy stores by 2010...." Are you kidding me, didn't they just close like 200 according to Joystiq.com

Find of the week.....damn it has been good... Just found a loose fair condigtion Motor Psycho for the 7800 Only paid $1.00 Thats US funds....$1 dollar... I was pleased to see it in with some man's garbage at a store slash makeshifthome....I don't even think he has a license to sell stuff, but I bought it and a copy of Star Kid for $1 dollar as well. Today is a good day...! Already had it but it never hurts to add something useful to a collection..if I could only get that RPG for the 7800 now...life would be even better... -
On top of it...this item has been reported...!

"Thanks Lance, I always knew you were a real person..." I also picked up My copy of Halloween with manual and Texas Chainsaw with manual from them in like 2002...no boxes though... Good group of guys there...

I picked up a save mary cart in 2004...I purchased mine from Video 61...It came in a not so cool white box and is still in the original shrinkwrap job they had done... What is the story behind those games purchased from them when compared to any other places? Is my save mary the same quality as yours? If not, I for one am pissed...I also purchased Klax, The Monitor Cart with Huge manual and Pit Fighter from them the same year...Are these fakes? Did I get ripped? God I feel like an idiot right now..... YGTBFKM! (unless i got the good stuff) Someone please fill me in if you have dealt with this company before....

Stop doing trips...makes you imagine this kind of nonsense. The NeoGeo is not even close to the JAguar in terms of anything except good fighters. The Neo Geo was soley arcade based games...In fact it gets props as being the first and only system to really provide a true arcade feel in your own home, hence the reason why the neo geo aes system ever game out to begin with...The neo geo system was supposed to be for sale to businesses and bars alike for entertainment, then some consumers (a select group) suggested they would pay the 600 bucks for a home console,...the home console had amazing sound and arcade style joysticks to give you the feel. I think Neo was saying the systems are completely different because they were when it came to 2D and 3D gaming....The jag was great at introducing its games and the Neo was great at its games, but the two never shared a single game as far as I know.. The specs are there in number format, but what About the first experience you had playing a neo geo? Or that of a Jaguar? I think the experiences would have to speak for themselves....Would you pump quarters into a jaguar game at the arcade...or an SNK game? You decide....there are so many opinions out there on this matter....I prefer my Neo Geo and I just found Metal Slug X in the wild so I need to sell some stuff so I can afford a new MVS converter II..I hear I could actually play the game then....all I have now is a crappy old converter...

I'm not saying dont be stoked about the trade - i was under the assumption that the those were the prices the dealer quoted you "For the record the dealer only had these neo geo games marked as 30 dollars tops...Metal Slug X was 30 bucks and the others were 25...But then there was Sam Show 3 marked at 75$ Either way...As mentioned I traded and spent 20 bucks cash..." The booth guys were very fair on the pricing...They had an aquarius in box keyboard for 20$ didnt pick that one up though....maybe next time... -
If you have a mailing list can you send me a pm when this is actually available for purchase...I will be sure to watch this topic as i have the US release 7800 collection and some aftermarket titles...I could use something newer to play for a while.....

"Where is Rock n' Roll Racing"??? Amazing sound on the Sega, but great gameplay on the Super Nintendo...That had some killer tracks and nothing beats hearing "Olaf is in First!" Or "Someone looks lost out there!" Or any of the other awesome voiceovers and then there was the awesome quitar music for its time.......Nana nana nananaa Amazing! Those were the days of Racing....right there my friends... -
Unfortunately not.....I cant beleive they dropped the ball on this as it would have made it even better. Still a great must by game though. Every table looks and plays fantastic. I have to agree with what Moycon said though, I have the PS3 version but the 360 controller is much better for pinball games. It just feels better. I'm still happy witht he PS3 version though so whichever you get its going to be VERY good. I agree with Moycon as well, the 360 controller does feel alot nicer in your hands, but I prefer the Ps3 controller when it comes to using the thumb pads as buttons...they seem to be so much more responsive and accurate....

Borderlands for the Ps3 is suppose to be alright and then I need to Purchase DjHero on the Ps2..What good is a Ps2 collection without the last couple biug boxed games? I still need to drop back and pick up a couple of the singstar new games as well, but after that I am good on the next gen stuff...Just dropping back to the classics from here on out..Need to grow my intellivision collection...

What the hell is a lightspan collection? "Ok, I'm not an expert on the PS1 Lightspan, but this is what I have and what I know...I have a lightspan printed carrying case with a ps1 inside of it...The ps1 is branded with a blackmarker..with a mark of maybe a school district..some letters and numbers is what is on it...The ps1 is near mint and smells new, but is not in a box...Then I have a broshure in a zipper case...looks like it spells out the specifics of the Lightspan plan...I also have now got three of the blue box items shown in the picture above...Inside each box I have about 50 discs in individual sleeves...the sleeves suggest the topic of study a student would be participating in when they checked out said disc....Kinda neat...Ive read they came out in 1996 or so until about 1998...the pamplet in the zipper sleeve...suggests a phone number and when I called..it was a play doh rep? Kinda neat stuff, I guess the school districts paid thousands for this material and systems instead of what they would have paid for computers? "Deleted the pricing on the Sham Show and the slugs..didnt realize they were cheaper...thanks for the correcting the price that I was bragging about...Either way I was stoked about the trade..." thats a good deal?! dude, check your prices, you got RIPPED! Those games COMBINED do NOT cost $150. Did I mention there was a brand new Turbo Grafx in a box....I dont even think the system was played, but the box shows shelf wear... -

Considering to buy a Gameboy Advance SP
Christopher T Leach replied to Herbarius's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I think the GBA SP was a great system for being a portable choice....now one question I dont think has been asked here..Do you want it for on the go or just for the selection of games.... If you are looking for an on the go My vote is in there for the SP with the brighter back lit screen,...you can tell it has a brighter back lit screen by the color of the caseing...There was a Onyx (I think) a pearl blue (I think) and a pink one...? SOmeone check on that...but if you want the gameboy for the games and you have a GAMECUBE...PICK up the gameboy player attatchment and play them on your bigger screen...I think the micro is too small, but on your own tv..you pick the size.... Good luck with your decisions and if you cant find a gameboy player with disc let me know and I can trade ya one... -

This here was all found here in Michigan at a new found flea market trade center....who would have thunk, I worked at the Credit Union on Friday...During my one moment of being able to check a local craigslist posting, I would come across a posting for a local flea market..This flea market was a 2 hour drive from where I live, but the decision was made...There was this cheesy post for laser discs 1$ Each...I got home Friday night, called up my laser disc buddy....we set out for this new flea market at 8 am sharp. Upon deciding to go...I hurried to gather up any trade bait I may have had. I stayed up til 2:30 Saturday morning and finally had my swag for trades....What would I bring? I narrowed it down to some 300 regular xbox games....previously posted on a forum for sale or trades....Not too many takers..so I quickly yanked those earlier in the week....Either way upon arrival at this flea market...I was shocked to come across as pictured in this posting...Neo Geo MVS games...Metal Slug 1...2...and X..... No freaking way...I asked if they wanted xbox games and they said they would look at them....sure enough we worked out a trade and 20$ for the pictured items and a neo geo classic arcade controller not pictured....The PS1 lightspan collection even come with a lightspan carrying bag and a ps1 system complete... This was a deal and a half considering Sam Show 2 is 150 plus along with the MVS Slugs..this is an amazing trade... "The laserdisc add led me there, but when we got to the booth that suggested they sold Laser Disc movies for a buck....the Laser Discs were CED's not Laser Discs....either way my buddy picked up a Laser Disc Beatled Abbey Road or something like that...He was just as stoked as I was...." -

Haha, now I feel like an idiot. I don't think I ever checked the description at all. With that scan being shown..the two look identical....but is the price worth having to try and clean a cart or just for the box? I picked up the cart for a buck...A box would be nice to have now that I see it isnt marked up...
-
Clearly black marker from the cart to the Threshold on the cover of the box...Who would do that to a great item? They should be burned at the stake!
