  1. I played Disgae 3 for 94 hours before I even had access to the Puppy paw Stick. I got the stick and fiddled with it for a bit, ut then I quit. Have not picked it up again....no pun intended. Now, Cross Edge should have been a great game. It crosses so many rpg's and puts them together, but then again so did that other game and that flopped. what was I to expect out of this when I bought it? Not much, so I tried to play for another 6 hours. I am not seeing much in the way of story and it is just so far me picking up all these people that dont remember each other but they do. So I am gonna play till I get all the characters and by then the story should come together, but I am not sure about all this level grinding... Dragon Warrior 4 (leveling for Taloon) I think i need tog et out of this genre of game play? Where are the good PS3 games? Thanks for all the replies
  2. NIS has done it again. They take a bunch of characters that I love to play with (especially Morgan) and make a game out of it. Then the game play takes a while to start and understand what the developers are making out of it, just to find yourself playing it for an hour........what did you do for the last hour? Where are the power leveling tactics? I think this game needs to be reviewed. If any one has played this game longer than an hour IS IT WORTH CONTINUING????????
  3. My atari 2600 cart total is somewhere around 2500 carts, this includes label variations, brazil games, pal games, and boxed games. the atari collection is a bit out of control. it makes me sick sometimes to think if they burned there would be a tar melt down in my home town.... Ha Ha Haaa
  4. Bought an atari jaguar for the first time from v61 the atari warehouse back in 2000. never owned one before then and I have kept it in the box only to perch upon the heigth of my daughters walk in closet top shelf. The box looks great and I have added several jag games like avp and doom and raiden, but cant seem to find the strength to open a new system that is 20 years old just to see how well it plays. I have 2 neo geo systems and love the system like it was my only one. I purchased the phantom 1 converter and play aes and mvs games in the system. makes my living room like a true to life arcade, but the games still cost way to much. I have several games and have played them all. never beat any of them but have payed them all. Comparing the two? Two totally different systems. The jag would never compare to the playability of the Neo Geo... Atari still rules, but the jag? I guess for some it is a great system, but not to myself
  5. Jason from Tradengames is a great person to do business with. I would not recommend any other games tore if i lived near his. I was just puzzled that controllers being unused would not open after they were sealed. problem solved....
  6. \ these controllers have been in plastic wrap since they were purchased..... so you suggest to just take them apart and clean the inside again...maybe with a qtip and some rubbing stuff? thanks for the tips Just lightly use a clean pencil eraser on the contacts. Works like a charm and will not tear them up. Unless they are the white or blue flex circuits and then it does no good. Thanks for the heads up thats all i needed to know unless i try this and it doesnt work. looks like this one is for the books thanks, ace

  8. Just recently wanted to clean out my game collection and sell some n64 games on the forums or ebay so... I came across my 5200 collection of games and had a system with them. this system had two shrunk wrapped controllers that were remade and stuck with stickers from Jason at tradengames. jason has been great to me so i figured these controllers would work like a charm. i never opened them as they were shipped to me wrapped and i just paid for them and stored them. now i find that one controllers start button does not work and the other does not have any shooting funtions available. I know that the reviews were good when i bought these two controllers back in 2004 so did storing them in a dark cool box hurt them? Any help will help me......I may need new controllers... Jason from trade n games, if you read this can you pm me with a price for a set of new ones. thanks, ace from michigan
  9. Double sigh. Yeah, it's too bad neonesmaster had to use all of those F words and call Digital Press users a bunch of inbred goat raping sister kissers. Atariage is where I try to call home. I hope my above post doesnt lead to thinking bad of me, but I tried to remain civil until I started getting pm's from the member board. I even had great standings as a trader. I traded one of the admin a collection of empty gb boxes to help with his collecting of goods.... again, no F words for the atariage.... I can even recall trying to be of some help with the brazil released games as I have several dozen of them.
  10. Just picked up 2 ea made four player adapters for the sega genesis and a sega brand cd bak up cart for the sega genesis to save sega cd game info for only 2 bucks nice find they also had a size small nes power glove i could have got for 2 bucks loose but i passed
  11. FINALLY MY CHANCE TO DISCUSS DIGITPRESS/COM I was a fond member of the digitpress forums right along side of the atariage at one time. i found my need to fit into a community of avid gamers and collectors alike on both sites until this one fatal day. I think it was a balmy 42 degrees outside and the wind was ferociuosly blowing as the digitpress forums had asked for some of my ps2 expertise in completing their ps2 site collectors list. (I have variations and case msitakes never before shared) I calmly agreed to share my ps2 knowledge and pictures of my very own collection with the site, until some adolescent decided to knock my pics and say they were not legitamit. I then decided to keep my pics from photobucket for myself and strayed away from the digitpress community only to return on another day in the future..... Well, the future came and I posted a forum reguarding a recall on xbox power supplies for their wireless racing wheels. this came as a surprise to their many xbox followers and they shunned me for suggesting that the Microsoft systems could have any flaws whatsoever. To sum this all up, I do believe I have the most complete ps2 collection possible to date and only lack possibly 100 titles or so with an avid collection of ps2 demos and variations. I jumped from 2600 to ps2 back to nes complete and still follow ps2 closely. Digitpress for myself is a site I no longer visit and wish they were more accepting of others that are not the imediate insiders..... I have pics of items they have never posted before and could help in their ps2 data base quite extensively... For now... Ace from michigan
  12. Games Im good at.....RPG games of anytime.... of course... Games I enjoy....ones with something to achieve.... Games I suck at......anything that is platform like.. I love Asteroids and held the highest score on the arcade remake for Digitpress.com for some time until I was kicked of thier server for being too good at it.....
  13. CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!! Who is waiting for what on the Wii to come out? Well, I might be the wrong person to ask that question, but here is my outlook on upcoming games for the Wii. Kid Icarus needs a comeback. Mario tennis was a joke when it came out being the same release as the cube but with wii controls. Donkey Kong Country was amazing. Barrel Blast? are you kidding me? Whats next? Let's remake some more DS titles and put them on the Wii. Wait??>":"?>??? Are we making games for gamers or just trying to find the most upsurd way to play something with lame graphics possible? The Wii has missed the gaming band wagon with only a hand full of games that actual gamers will play... Lets point click and wii zap our way out of Nintendo until they make another system that hard core gamers are gonna play....sorry...
  14. I had big hopes for MS and the console thing but they are just more of the same. I do think the 360 has so far outshined the PS3 in a lot of ways. Clearly the PS3 has serious potential but it too suffers from the same fate the Jag did: Insufficient development tools. Sony however has the money to correct this and I m sure has gone a long way to do so since its release. Atari did not have this luxury and had a couple of unrealistically over confident people in control at the time of the 7800 and the Jaguar. The 7800 is screaming with potential as is the Jaguar. Time is necessary to do justice on the Jag. The 7800 just needs a bit more and it could dominate the after market console arena. The MARIA is a great chip and just needs a bit more RAM to beable to pull off some seriously nice gfx. *There has been some small talk in this thread that leads into the new era of video game consoles that might need to be talked about alittle...not much but maybe a little.. Microsoft is american, true, but the verdict is split between gamers as to whether or not it is better than Sony im sure. *Plenty of talk about the 7800 playing 2600 games comes up in this thread... Take Sony's ps3 60 gig and mention all the games that this console will play. Being able to play nearly every ps1 and ps2 title makes this system capable of playing more great games than microsoft ever released on either of its 2 consoles...not to mention there are more people that seak out and collect ps1 and ps2 than any microsoft games.... "If I could only have one system hooked up to my television of the newer era it would be the ps3 for several reaons!" as for the classic systems, I have collected the 7800 titles. I have all of the us released titles and picked up some oddities boxed such as Save Mary, Klas, Pit Fighter, the Programming kit with manual and a couple others, but my favorite would be CENTIPEDE.... I loved it in the arcade and love the speed at which it runs on the 7800. I also enjoy the similarities between Asteroids and the classic arcade machine. The speed of the 7800 and the arcade like game play make the 7800 definately worth keeping around for years to come.... I have a factory sealed jaguar and a looose jag, but have yet to spend time with it other than when i was a kid in the 90's I find collecting for the 2600 was very enjoyable, but how many copies of combat can one person find in the wild before they get lucky and find a chase the chuckwagon. I have over 3000 carts for the 2600 and no where close to having them all. Not including homebrews. I have every release for the 7800 not including protos and home brews, but enjoyed collecting 2600 for many years
  15. If you are spending time playing games on your colecovision, please pick up the expansion atari port for the system. this allows you to play the 2600 games on it and makes your system feel as if it has a new life to it. we could go in to the lawsuits later, but for now if you enjoy the coleco controller you can enjoy playing 2600 games on the system as well. hope this is new info for ya..
  16. As Promised More Stuff Up For Grabs ,,,,,, PM me with any offers or special requests thanks ace
  17. Yes, but let us know how it works! No intensions on hooking this up to play pac-man. Sorry! But, I have played and tested this item. It works great as great can be..... Ive put it back in the vault to be stored out of site for quite some time into the future.... I was really wondering with this posting if anyone else has any harder to find note worthy items such as the joy board. Whats the best looking joy board out there? Also I have the Back to school pak boxed complete in excellent shape for 30 years old.....Does anyone have this item?
  18. Never tried to play anything other than Mogul maniac with the Joyboard...... CALL ME STUPID, but I can really play pac-man with this thing? thanks for the heads up! Ace
  19. How well does it play.....Well this one in particular is in incredible shape so it plays like new, but I dont think that is what you mean. The joyboard plays very precise for its time. I would even say it has been compared to the Wii Fit balance board for the Nintendo Wii. Similiar technology, but very different. The joy board take talent to be able to balance while playing the game. To play Mogul Maniac, the player would plug a joystick into the joyboard and then lean to the left, right front or back to control the skiing player. Fun level might be like a 2 out of 10, but this pic was just posted to see if anyone else out there has one like it or not.... If so, please post your pics here, if not, feel free to post any atari pics of complete or hard to find items here. I also have the wireless atari controllers boxed and the atari racing accessory boxed....pics to come when i get a moment free from work...
  20. Just wanted to post some of my note worthy Atari memorabillia somewhere in the forums for all to see and thought this would be a good place.... here are pics of item #1 from my personal Atari 2600 collection... ,,,, More to come... feel free to use this thread to post some of your own collectible items, I'd like to see them.
  21. Just wanted to add some pics I have taken from my insurance portfolio since it seems like this gaming contest is a big ordeal...I recently came across some pics of a gentleman with his cuckoo clocks.....sorry member name not mentioned here, but I wanted to post these NEO GEO pics. Everything in these pics is legit but, 2 items are missing from them. 1 boxed neo geo aes system and 1 boxed neo geo fighter stick the one with the colorful buttons. enjoy... ,,,,,,,,
