  1. Ya it all depends. I got mine for $15. This included 7 games. It was also the very first model with removable controllers and the Orignal odyssey cord.
  2. Here is the best I could upload. If you need better please feel free to email me. This is for Model BLAK. I have both Releases of the service manual so if you Need BK12 let me know. Somewhere I have the schematics for the brown box. That would be fun to make. I also have the ones for the first videogame, Tennis for Two. Not sure where that one is either. Need to go digging.
  3. Alot of great stuff Ian but sadly no odyssey things ha ha. We know how much I like them. I may need to buy the Loafers . But seriously there are few sellers Id rather buy from.
  4. The ds can go two ways. I dont hink i would include it in a gameboy collection. Just because it plays gameboy games(so does the Gamecube Gameboy Adaptor). Nintendo doesnt even call it a gameboy its just the Nintendo Ds. And since this is a game boy collection not a portable nintendo collection then i agree that it shouldnt be it there. Otherwise the Virtual Boy would hve to go in also But I digress. Very Very nice set up. I may have to take the idea also. I dont think i have enough display cases yet
  5. I like the odyssey Stuff. You need to find the rare carrying case though.
  6. The bubble mailer really gets under my skin, but even more so are people who send very expensve classic Consoles in there boxes. I have received numerous consoles simply wraped in paper and shipped. Of course those rare boxes that i paid so much extra for now have nice slash marks courtesy of the Great US post office. Dam how hard is it to find a box to put it in. Its beyond rediculous.
  7. Ive added a couple Pictures. Now i have the 1972 games, shooting gallery, Carrying case, and odyssey unit all 100% complete. All i need to find are the 4 games from 1973. If anyone has any they would be willing to let go please let me know.
  8. Somehow im not surprised that Toby wants one
  9. I got this today. Beyond that fact that its actually a neat system its also a renewed system. I always like these better. Renewed systems are unusual to find most the time it seems
  10. That sounds interesting i will look into it.
  11. Thanks Jacob. Ya i have really enjoyed collecting the original odyssey. Thats addicting but this may be a slitghty cheaper addiction. I am working on creating an entire magnavox library. Eventualy ill have every release for magnavox in its lifspan. Like i said thanks for the help. I hear the odyssey 2 uses the same odd rf cable as the original odyssey back then it was first made then it switched to a normal rf cable. Is this true
  12. oh okay. i was impressed ha ha. Well thanks for the info. Anything i should know about collecting for this system
  13. Thanks for the help. If its about the original odyssey i know it but i dont know much about these. I snagged this the other day and was just curious. I hear the detachable ones are much rarer eBay Auction -- Item Number: 230437340303 The other question i have is did this first model use the same odd game cable and switchbox as the original odyssey and odyssey pong systems As for the odyssey 3 controllers how did you get those. I thought it never passed into a production run
  14. I just won an odyssey 2 on ebay to add to my ever growing magnavox collection. Im curious as to when that 2 controller options were released. I know there is a hard-wired controller options and a removable option. I went with removable sicne i hear its much rarer. But which was first. When did the removable option come out. I may also need to find the original manual for this, but i got the system for $15 with 7 games. And its gaurenteed to work so i figure not so bad
  15. Come on people. Lets get this project rolling again ha ha. This is the only, and probably will be the only, homebrew for the first console ever. and for only $60. Cant get much better than that
  16. Lets do a roll call of who all wants a copy of this game because i finally have money and want to buy it ha ha. Ill make number 1 however if you make 6 more id love to have number 22. Its my lucky number ha ha.
  17. I want to find the magnavox tv that had the odyssey 100 bulit into it. That would be sweet.. Ive seen it a couple times. Model 4305 had pong built into it so basically the odyssey 100.
  18. Do you mean a regular tv set or a magnavox tv set. I want to find the magnavox tv that had the odyssey 100 bulit into it. But about 5 feet from that display case i have my 52in tv that i play all my games on. So thatll have to do for now

The others are at the smithsonian This is my odyssey that i got Back signed by Ralph Baer. My favorite peice These are the two versions of the Apex-Magnavox Blue cartridge. They contain carts 7 and 8. Both are complete with instructions Licensed Foreign Releases This is the version of the Odyssey released in Germany prior to the German export odyssey. It was licensed by ITT Schaub-Lorenz and renamed Odyssee. This System is incredibly rare and one of only a couple boxed ones I know to exist. This unit is in Mint unused condition with all orignal components unused including the tape and batteries Export Systems German Odyssey Export System Standard Export Odyssey. This one Came from New Zealand Unlicensed Clones The Spanish Overkal The rarest and most interesting Odyssey System in my opinion. Almost an exact copy of the US Odyssey. One of only 3 CIB systems I know of This is the Telematch de Panoramic. It was released in Argentina and shares many qualities of the Magnavox Odyssey. The boards inside are almost identical as well as the general controller design. However the Telematch doesnt use overlays like the American Odyssey Don Emry's System I bought this system from an Odyssey employee named Don Emry. It was given to him when he left Magnavox in late 1973. He is the man who created the 73 games. He was nice enough to sign it for me also
  20. that makes 4. Come on I want to get one of these ha ha. Im sure theyll easily sell
  21. I have not actually. Very cool though
  22. Ya they are kind of interesting. If it was for the original odyssey id be all over it.
  23. Didnt you have a few bids on the ebay bidding. Im sure youd have no trouble selling them to be honest. Over at the roundtable forums they seemed interested too.
  24. Ha ha. Ya i have some signed stuff too. I want to send him my odyssey to sign. He didnt say anything but i beleive he is just nuetral in the situation. I dont think he really cares. But man he gets made with people profitting off his name
