  1. 24,950 Despite an arm injury, I still made it around where my better games of this end. 3rd screen always screws me. Still, a very fun game, I overlooked way too long on the 5200
  2. SNES- Robotrek- 20min pass... Cyber Knight II- 20min pass... Treasure Hunter G- 1hr liking this one Record of Lodoss War- 95min Played 1st section numerous times, and saving, but that feature on this particular cart, is dead. Replaced battery twice, and it holds data till game over screen., then gone, without reset or powering off. was kinda digging this one too, despite the goofy dungeon view setup.
  3. I replaced all 5 of my NES cart batteries. Only one was below 3vdc at 2.99, with the rest around 3.07/8
  4. Snes- Energy Breaker- 30min. Pass... NES- Swords & Serpents- 2hrs p-word system on this bites, so I'm just saving via save state on the hackbox. Wizards and Warriors- 5min pass... Destiny of an Emperor - 1hr Star Soldier - 25min AD&D Dragons Of Flame - 45min
  5. SNES- Illusion of Gaia- 3hrs made it past the Incan stuff, and yes, I am that bad. The crap on the raft afterwards, has gotta be the most boring waste ever. NES- 1943- 2hrs 13min Galg- 20min 1942- 1hr for added difficulty, try playing this long with a feather covered bird on your foot, that digs the claws in, each time you move, lol
  6. NTSC Sagaia allowed? I still have that on original cart.
  7. My nephews like watching this one, as the magic animations are silly. We had it since back then, but none of us ever played it through until I did, this summer. The kids like to play the final battle, using my leftover save. Ours is the US version, and one thing that really kept throwing me, was the backwards "Heal", and "Cure" items. I went through every area it had, since game didn't have much.
  8. Just about covers anything NTSC-https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804900968210.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.4ef338da6s2Je8&mp=1&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa Uses 2032 battery, saves multiples, nicely ordered menu with sub-menus by letter, remembers your last game played, etc. Another Pixel cart, sells out fairly quick, but restocked every couple months.
  9. Nope. On the day supposedly delivered, I was home the entire day, and day after. Even the ones I did get, weren't delivered here. One got dumped at the leasing office.
  10. Our game for August, is one everyone should try, Blueprint. I myself, discovered really liking this game, when it came up in HSC long ago, but had never given it a chance prior. Play on defaults, using real 5200 systems, and Atari Mfg controls. Control does make a difference in this one, so a -1 HSC pt for use of period alternate analog sticks, such as Wico. Only modern exceptions are flashcarts/SD loaders running original Roms. Pics preferred, but not required, except for HSC wins and records. Round ends when month does. Current HSC Record- match it(roll) for a bonus point! Blueprint - Kida0723 105,550 (Rolled The Score) Busted! New- RB5200 129,250 Final scores- 129,250 RB5200 +11+1=12 54,450 DamonicFury -1+10=9 31,100 nitrohepcat +9 24,950 zylon +8 22,950 rubeon +7 8,150 RangerG +6 Current Standings- RB5200 - 79 rubeon - 68 DamonicFury - 66 zylon - 56 Mikey50 - 46 jeremiahjt - 38 jetset - 31 RangerG - 31 troff - 14 nitrohepcat - 14 IICCEEMMAANN - 5 Blueprint (1982) (CBS) (U).a52
  11. Some good shooting this month, but not enough to keep RB5200 from another win this season, despite a heavy gauntlet tossed by last year's champ. 😎👍 Thanks to all who played, and make this still the 5200 place to be, keeping our systems alive, working, and loved. Final scores- 84,790 RB5200 +11 74,430 DamonicFury +10 49,800 rubeon +9 37,300 jeremiahjt +8 28,990 zylon +7 20,810 nitrohepcat +6 17,500 RangerG +5 11,200 Mikey50 +4
  12. another one loaded with translations and non-cookie cutter stuff- https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805663005335.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.334b1802WWeznu&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa
  13. My new goodie arrived. 68-in1, mostly the US released rpg's and some other stuff. Only notable absence, is Lufia Fortress of Doom, which is often buggy. It does hold multiple saves at once, but how many hasn't been tested yet. I stopped at 4 test saves. Tiny 1220 battery, with a 2032 nes board shown for comparison.
  14. Gun.Smoke was fun. My brothers never figured out how to shoot straight ahead, so I usually beat them at that one.
  15. most listings for the 249, omit the games list, other than the one vendor on Amazon. I think it would do better than the 239, which sells great, if the list got posted more. It's the same games+10, always the later design, and often cheaper than 239, should be a no-brainer. Possibly the best starter cart out there now. I have yet to find a title on any of that design, that won't run on everything I have. I've seen some recent listings of the 630, but already at scalper rates of 2-3x the cost new. Those were always around 25 shipped. Only NES news on my end lately, is I just acquired a functional Shadowgate, so I can annoy my neighbors much like my parents long ago, lol.
  16. 😂 use your CX1850s Telegraph Me system. At least he's not like my grandparents, and giving orders in english no one understands or Mom using her rotary phone on the wall, so she could really hang-up on someone. In my case, I never have the customer number, because orders never actually arrive. Somebody somewhere is getting awesome stuff, and likely tossing it. He never emails any tracking, or even tells me anything shipped.
  17. Kinda slow week, with qualification taking up most of my free day. SNES- Lagoon- 45min, completed 1st task/cave of game. Not bad, but horrible attack radius, and the semi iso view blocks view of enemies, items, and yourself, if along the lower side of a passage. Using a third button to talk to npc's kinda odd too. A dead guy moves faster than that kid you rescue from the cave. Luckily, only the skeleton warriors seem to actually target anything. BlaZeon- 30min none of us get past the cheeseball spitting, connect-4 board boss on 1st level yet. Game does kinda suck, but good for getting the nephews' feet into shmups. Final Fight 3- 15min NES- Esper Corps- 10min, strange game with insane jumping ability. side view vertical dungeon, and really silly giant clown mallet for an attack Legend of Zelda- 20min, and won't be continuing on, lol. Ain't my bag, man Fantasy Zone- 10min I can still beat the pea shooting giant brownie, lol.
  18. I'll probably be trying to get a 72-pin repro of my FC 1944, which died. I've been limited to my hackbox version for awhile now.
  19. Other prior batches came fine, just got unlucky and they must have used yesterday's for a wheel chock. Good time to point out that STED will run on most anything, except early Yobo and Retron, the ones without numbers. Stuck with multicart versions, if that's the only system someone has. Works on old Retron2 and up. Also noteworthy that much less flicker on actual cart R-type, vs the 509 multi version.
  20. more smashy, with something very heavy. All 3 crushed, but only FF7 is dead. Board got tweaked inside. That was today's mail. The other two fire right up, as-is
  21. It was renamed Ax Battler, for gamegear. Exactly the same game, or at least I think it was, with just a name swap. Golvelius was a present one year, in a time when it might have been the only game I got that year. I played what I had. Later on the 90s, we bought a crap load of stuff from SCI, who was selling Sega's leftover inventory for most systems. Vast majority of my GG games, were bought that way. I'd bought a system around my final HS years, 93-94. I believe I finally sold the last of the NOS stuff in 2021. I remember taking it to work, and just clearing screens to find stuff to load up with.
