    Any Idea?

Those aren't tapes man! They're 8-Track cassette cartridges! Which I still use as well!
  2. Nope. My fav port of Space Invaders was the 5200 one.
  3. Never sold the roms yet, but have sold the empty carts. Not much else you can do with 30 Combats, Air-sea battless, E.T.'s, etc. Too honest to do the "promo" thing, but I know others who would...
  4. I've got a box of extra 2600 commons and some uncommon. I could do $.25 each as well. Send PM if you'd want a list.
  5. got 6 available. loose carts only, no missing labels. Pitstop, Pacman, Pitfall 2, Dragonsden, Pole Position, Dig Dug These are extras from a C64 lot I bought last week.
  6. I see auctions go for mere pennies frequently. It's got a lot to do with the timing of the auction and the interest of the bidders. For instance, I've seen 4sw 2600s w/ 30 commons go $50 but also saw them go $2. For awhile, I was gutting the carts, selling the cases, and throwing the rom boards in a barrel. Did get more $ that way.
  7. 1: Kaboom! 2: Missile Command 3: Yar's Revenge 4: Battlezone 5: Dark Chambers 6: Galaxian 7: Enduro 8: Milipede 9: Phoenix 10: Space Invaders
  8. Still own: 2600-many versions, C64, SMS, Genesis, Saturn, N64, Xbox, 360, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Gamegear Used to own: C-380, Video pinball, Radio shack electronic scoreboard, vic-20, ti994/a, 3do, TG16, 5200, 7800, Gameboy, Odyssey 2, Intellivision-many versions, Colecovision, Playstation 1
  9. As an original owner of a Goldstar model, I can give a few tips. The goldstar version doesn't hold the door closed. If you tip the machine forward, the door opens. That's handy when the mechanism dies, but bad in shipping. Almost all games that were good on this system were either available or better on Saturn or even Jaguar. Wolfenstein 3d, Doom, Road Rash, etc. Very diminutive library for 3do...

    Any Idea?

Atari tape looks like Combat, the partially hidden one looks like a C64 tape
  11. Do you want numbers from all sixers or just the first style? 6 original style and 7 later ones. Almost all have had their switchboards changed to the channel switch type for ease of part replacement.
  12. At one time, I had 2600, 5200, 7800, jaguar, lynx, nes, snes, sms, genesis, saturn, playstation, dreamcast, xbox, n64, gamecube, c64, vic-20, ti994/a, gamegear, gameboy, tg16, 3do, intellivision, colecovision, and odyssey 2. Not to mention spare consoles and the games themselves. After awhile, I got burned out on collecting and I decided to simplify my collection. So I kept the 2600, c64, sms, genesis, saturn, xbox, gamegear, n64, & gamecube. Also sold games from systems I kept that I'd probably never play. That brought in enough $ to further my other life interests and free up some much needed room. The only one I've missed is the 5200 but I haven't missed the expense. I don't really buy games anymore but spend time playing the ones I love.
  13. Most 2600s I've run into with no sound usually have a bad cap. on the board. The sound caps are the pair of foil/silver and clear plastic on the board near the tall adjuster. Changing them requires soldering, but they are very cheap. I got mine at Best Electronics. As for the system that doesn't move up, it's most likely a controller port. This is more common on 4sw. than 6ers. I usually drill 2 small holes through the port base and install screws to secure them to the board like sega used. That little bit of side-to-side play is what leads to their failure.
