  1. Atari 5200- for my HSC Missile Command- 2hrs Missile Command+- 20min
  2. I'll stand on a roll of 1,000,480. Pause button not working today. 😕

  4. Sounds like an RF modulator issue. I just replaced one for doing similar, on a 2600 6er.
  5. no chance of getting a score pic, but did get to the last spot to shoot on stage 2 boss. Dollar General Raiden knockoff, lol.
  6. SNES - Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - 5-1/2hrs, completed. Legend of the Mystical Ninja - 20min NES - 1942- 90min 1944- 50min via my hackbox Dragon- 10min (Nice Code release) Parodious - 30min
  7. SNES Final Fantasy Mystic Quest 20hrs ish
  8. He's gonna take you back to the past, with 💩 threads that suck @$$
  9. My order went in last night
  10. Galagon, Colony 7, Gorf Arcade, Juno First.
  11. There was still a pin left, which the "booster grip" took advantage of. the GND was the same for both paddles and joysticks, with the +5vdc being fed to the other 5 (directionals and fire) I used to modify cx78 sticks to use as Omega Race sticks. I've seen mention here, and in past about possibly using the proline sticks for 2nd button on 2600 games, later on, and it just wasn't setup to read it, even though it could accept it. Pressing either "fire" on a proline, gets the same response from the 2600, despite the inline resistor that the 7800 reads the distinction from. Same issue with using SMS pads, which also used 4 directionals and 2 fire buttons. In the case of SMS pads, the 2nd button doesn't register on 2600, though the rest works. 7800 prolines used the same trigger line for both, with a resistor on one side, but it was setup to read a high or low pull as different button presses, while the 2600 was just setup to respond to any pull of that pin, in the same fashion.
  12. I have to say, this new Yobo is far better than what they used to sell. Cart slots work well, no death grip required. Controllers are quite good, though cords are a bit shorter than others. The NES-to-SNES controller adaptor works well, except for controllers by the newest "bottom rung" in clones, Classiq. The only gripe I'd have with the entire system, is one controller is matte finished D-pad, and the other has shiny D-pad. The shiny one doesn't hold as well to my thumb. I tested both in alternating levels, in the 1942 run. Classiq's HD models seem ok, but their regular AV base models suck, at least for construction and controls. I tested an AV Classiq N, and a Classiq II, at the store, where I chose the Yobo. I was kinda surprised by the difference between my Classiq N HD, and the regular model. I didn't get a new light gun, just used my old one with the adaptor on my crt. It worked fine on the 3 gun games I have.
  13. testing out the NES function of our new FC Twin Slim, an updated model. Even the pack-in controllers work rather well.
  14. Worked on this year's "Mom game", Crystalis, a bit more. Up to lv 11, got the water sword, and all but the Angry Sea completed on 3rd area. Otherwise, I've been playing my usual fare.
  15. NES - Crystalis 3hrs 5min Mario Bros- 35min Thundercade- 10min Dead Fox- 10min (some kind of Rolling Thunder knockoff, with Rommel, and helicopters for some reason. Can't read Jp, but it plays well) Now have sword of water, and all the other things done, up to the Angry Sea portion. Never thought I'd be using turbo fire buttons on an RPG, but it's working.
  16. SNES- FF mq- 6-1/2 hrs Star Force arcade via Xbox Tecmo collection - 20min NES - Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom -45 min 1942- 75min Spartan X- 10min Our Retro Duo finally broke. The mounting studs for the NES cart slot sheared off. I replaced it with the Yobo FC2 slim model, which is surprisingly good. Even the cart slots are much easier to use, and it has higher compatibility so far.
  17. I'd suggest the sequel to my 852 forever duo, the forever 509. It's loaded with classics, and a heavy selection from say '95-2020. Gun Nac is not in English, but plays fine, and recca is there, also the R-Type conversion of Magic dragon. Only downer to it, is it flash saves 1 only, at a time. Technically, it'd be Forever Games III. Some of the games are fixed, such as the text glitch in most 1942 multicart roms. The 154 Remix is just 3/4 of both the old 143, and 150, with a sprinkling from the 153. Though it does have FF3, which the 'good ones" lack. FF2 is one I'd trade away in a minute, lol. Even the 253 put in Princess Tomato, but left off FF3. What I like about the old 150, mainly is it adds many of the missing stuff to many other carts. It's also only like 11-13 bucks. The Samurai Pizza Cats on it, is listed as Ninja Cat, and missing some of the intro. Another perk for me, is it has Spartan X, the version of "Kung-Fu", that I can get to 2nd floor on. Yes, I'm that bad... I was just playing Thundercade on it tonight with Nug. Skip the 395 or 1Up carts, as that's just the Forever games 405, with a 10 game trim. I have that one for the kids to play with, when they're here. Those new design flash save carts- 239, 249, 253, work like magic. However, the older cart designs that got converted to flash, still work the same, sans battery. There's also issues with the conversion models, on some clones, that don't occur with the original battery setup. YMMV...
  18. It has the battery deal, but I've yet to figure out which games, if any, use it. It's still available today, just without the battery. Notables on it for me, Parodious, 1942, 1943, Gun Nac in English, Macross, Twin Cobra, Summer Carnival '92, Samurai Pizza Cats, half of the Twin Bee games, Capt America, YS Tank, and others. 19. Just caught this, but late AF, lol. Anyways, Carnival '92 is on my most played multi-cart, an old 150-in-1, my "shooter cart". Neat thing with this one, is it gives you thumbnails of screenshots, as you scroll the menu. Best $10 bucks I ever gambled on one of those.
  20. Played it once in arcade, and got further than I ever did on NES. On that, I rarely get past first guy that's a different color. I did enjoy using it for phone and intercom pranks back then. Vigilante was another one I did horrific on, lol
  21. Couple late runs this morning- NES- Crystalis- 1hr 15min (got through to 3rd area, after beating some general) Y's- 1hr (though this one lost out on being this year's Mom game, I was determined to at least gain a level, for the effort)
  22. Up to the 3rd area of the world, Portoa, I believe. The people involved just keep getting goofier. I'll take a break and get to lv 10, before going on.
  23. SNES- via RD2 FF MQ- 4hrs It's not bad, but I probably won't play through this again UN Squadron- 15min Meh... Sonic Blast Man- 25min cheesy, but I still find it fun Raiden Trad- 45min I stick to the default "red" weapon, just maxxed out NES- via orig Retron and RD2 1942- 90min 1943- 30min 1944- 2hrs 30min 1945- 10min Y's- 20min Crystalis- 2hrs Star Soldier- 25min Mighty Final Fight- 30min
