Turbo Grafx 16 CD ------------------- Fighting Street aka Street Fighter - 25 minutes (Damn how hard it is to throw a Hadoken!!!!)

Radiant Silvergun Street Fighter Zero series(Alpha in the US) Dracula X Pocket Fighter Final Fight Revenge(actually a crappy game...but cool to have )

Neo Geo AES ------------ King of Fighters 99 - 15 minutes Genesis -------- Gunstar Heroes - 30 minutes (What a great game) 7800 ------ Centipede - 10 minutes

My first expierience will be in about 3 days when my recently purchased 5200 arrives at my house via UPS. I'll post more thoughts after that.

Master system ------------- Phantasy Star 1 - 45 minutes. Thats it for the day....I am Phantasy Star'd out.

Well.....the decision has been made. I bought one. Atari2600.com has a bunch for sale on thier site now and went ahead and made the purchase. I feel good about it. Now its time to deal with joystick hell........lol. Thanks to all of you who replied and gave me a ton of information. I really appreciate it. Now i gotta go and find some Wico sticks just in case.

I have alot of consoles that people who arent "in the know" would find obscure. The first being my Neo GEo AES systems (japanese and english). I have had friends come over and pulled this behemoth out to play it and they were like "What in the hell is that thing???" Yes....I hang out with some losers......lol. I also play my Neo Geo pocket color quite frequently....especially anywhere that involves waiting. You should see these little kids playing thier DS systems.......looking at me weird. The last would be my Neo Geo CD-Z. Same stry....I get the "what the hell is that" response. So in closing.....nothing really obscure to us here on the forums........just to those casual gamers.....lol

Supercross 3-D. I played this at my buddies house for all of about 5 minutes. Im good......no need to revisit that hunk of crap.

i got samurai shodown 1 and 2 for under 50 bucks a piece complete with box. Like the others said.......the cheapers are the commons. Once you start getting into the KIng of Fighters series and what not....the prices start to go up. I think i paid 179 for KOF 99 from hit-japan on ebay.

Decided to break out the Master system and give it some exercise. Master System ------------ Afterburner - 10 minutes Double Dragon - 20 minutes I think I'll break out Phantasy Star 1 and start that again. Its been a loooooong time.

My girlfriend has palyed this nonstop since she got it. I played it a few times and absolutely sucked at it. It was either hard....or my gaming skills are going in the crapper.

neogeo.com has one AES system for sale right now that has been modded for s-video and what not going over 600 bucks. Try ebay and look for a seller by the name of hit-japan. I have ordered numerous times from them and have been flawless transactions. They have quite a few AES systems for sale at great prices. In fact my japanese aes came from them and it works perfectly. If you want blood instead of white milk....go with a japanese aes. but yes.....all aes cartridges go for each. I also have an adaptor i purchased from neogeo.com that allows MVS carts to play on my AES so there is alot of money saved right there as the MVS carts usually go for a cheaper amount of money. if you need any help or have any questions.....please get ahold of me as I am NEOGEO super freak....lol. It is my favorite system and has by far the best fighting games . I have dealt with this system alot and know the best ebayers to purchase from for this particular item.

I'll admit.....when the Jag first came out i didnt give it a second look. I was one of those people who read game magazines like they were the Bible and we all know that the Jag was treated like the plague in those. As i got older.....my game goggles came off(similar to beer goggles) and I started getting interested in systems i never gave a chance. A game store opened up near my house some years ago and carried alot of retro stuff as well as new. Thay had a Jag there at a very discount price with some games so I said "what the hell". Thats the end of the story. That Jag got more miles put on it than i can remember eventually breaking down. Not too long ago....I purchased a new one off the internet and have increased my collection 10 fold. I love this system and wish i had given it a chance back in the day.

The very fact you can play Neo Geo fills me with jealousy. I've been dreaming about owning that system since I first saw an ad for the $200 games in EGM. +1 just for the fact you have a Neo Geo. Thanks for the +1. This is actually my Neo that my parents bought me back in the day at Babbages for my birthday. Still ticking....lol. Have a japanese AES as well that i bought about 3 months ago. Good to read a different opinion. Game informer states that the the game is "Two monsters fighting thier way into the bargain bin" and gave it a dismal score. But thats a video game mag for you. I think I'll check it out based on what i read here. Thanks.
