Depends on if you like to play hack-and-slash games alone. I enjoy them either alone or with a friend (though the latter tends to make these games more fun). So, if you can play Golden Axe or Knights of the Round or other similar games by yourself and have fun, then yes.

 

When I heard about this coming out, it made me consider selling my Saturn copy.

 

Selling the Saturn copy???? No no no no. Sure its gonna be one thing to play on XBL with friends....but the Saturn copy is a collectors item. I will never sell my copy.....just leave it in the vault.

Metallica pinball????? Ugh!!!! Make Slayer pinball a reality instead of a video game. Now that would be a machine I would play.

 

I personally dont want to see a Metallica anything!!!! Maybe if they had ended thier reign with "And Justice for all" I would feel differently......but the loads of crap that came after ruined it for me.

Bought the Wii U at launch for the wifey. She loves it....I wanted nothing to do with it. Seeing the direction that Sony and Microsoft are going with the next gen......I might be embracing the Wii U.

Sure am glad I switched to Verizon Fios. Solid and fast connection......although that doesnt mean I'm gonna buy this crap!!!

 

So basically if I am in the middle of a game and for some reason the connection goes down....then so do I??? Great strategy.

 

But people will still buy it.

Just picked up Luigis mansion tonite. Will start playing it probably tomorrow.

 

All in all....I find the 3ds worth it. Fire Emblem, Super mario Land 3D, Paper Mario:Sticker Star, New Super mario 2, Kid Icarus, Monster Hunter 3 just to name a few. Im sure Luigis Mansion will be just as enjoyable as it was on the cube.

Found these NES Black Box titles and a complete Sin and Punishment at Game Attic in Lakeland Square Mall here in Florida. Got a good deal. Probably paid a little too much for S&P...but have wanted it for awhile. As for the NES titles.....I am trying to put together a complete Black Box collection...and these put me with only 4 more to go.

I gotta tell ya. This is one of the few games that has a computer controlled partner that is actually useful. The chick that runs with you(once you save her) has gotten me out of quite a few tight jams.

I guess the only complaint that I have about this game is that I'm having serious trouble trying to play it. Not because of technical issues (I am playing the PS3 version), but simply because I haven't played enough FPSes beyond the level of Doom and Quake to even get a feel for how to play today's FPSes.

 

Its been awhile since I played an FPS....so it took a little baby stepping. It was much easier though using my 360 controller. I just cant seem to get it on my PS3 controller.

[Anybody else pick up Bioshock Infinite?]

Bioshock, so far in my life, is my favorite game ever. I will get Infinite when I have some real time to play it, no hurry. I just hope the single player experience is the main focus, with another encapsulating storyline. I have no interest in multiplayer for this game. Definitely looking forward to some experiences from members on it.

 

No multiplayer on this. Only story. Which is fine by me. So far it has exceeded my expectations.

[Bioshock Infinite just released]

LOL....I posted my thread 4 minutes before yours. I am playing it and love it so far. Its Bioshock all the way....just different surroundings.

Picked it up today. Messed around with for about an hour and a half. Kinda slow to start but once it kicks in.......hold on. So far loving it. Graphics are beautiful and controls spot on.
