    Picked up Castlevania "Mirror of Fate" today. Just started it. Like it so far.

    Just picked this up. So far so good. Anybody else pick this up? Graphically...its a pretty game. Kinda changes style throughout. Movie cut scenes are kinda cell shaded. Prologue using Gabriel Belmont is like Lords of Shadow from PS3/360. Fast forward 57 years later and I am using Simon Belmont in more of traditional "if you will" Castlevania look. All in all it works so far. Controls are spot on. As for the 3D effect....I usually always turn it off. I just started the game but from what I have read....you will be using other characters as well to complete this game. Looking forward to it. I will update my thoughts more as I get along but posting no spoilers about the storyline.

    Very true. I remember when Battlefield 3 hit. Launch day was hit and miss on the servers.....lots of bitching......servers went back up.....game then became awesome.

    A new place opened up near my house called "Monster Games". They sell the current gen and also alot of retro stuff. Problem is......they know what they have and price it accordingly. Had a copy of Sunset Riders for SNES for 45 bucks.

    I am mainly an online shopper for my games. The Goat Store, Stone Age, JJ games, Atari 2600.com and here. As far as brick and mortar stores??? All I have around me is a bunch of Gamestops and the people that work there know jack and crap about anything other than the current gen. Used to frequent a Play N Trade when my buddy was the manager...but he has since left and now you have the same story. A bunch of idiots who have never heard of Turbo Grafx or Neo Geo.

    My wife diagnosed it as a mental sickness. Something in our brain triggers our hands to reach into our wallets whenever we see an inferior cheap piece of plastic that may or may not play all of our games. We know its not going to be as good as the original.....but we gotta have it!!!! on second thought.....maybe its more like a drug addiction.

    Mine has been grinding for a long time. Still have an original phat from day one. Started grinding about 6 months after purchase. Took it back to Best Buy for another. Same thing. Still works to this day. Thats alot of years on it....so I dont think you have alot to worry about.

    Im not too far from you. I live in Lutz, Florida. Right off SR54 Im in. My house is right near I-75....so its really nothing to hop on and drive to wherever for a meet up.
