  1. Opps... the transit is at Minneapolis, not Indianapolis. Guess it's around the same there as well.
  2. Hey orpheuswaking, noticed that your're in Indianapolis. Does it usually snow there around Thanksgiving weekend / beginning De c ? I be planning a trip to Florida around that time (but probably next year) and the plane transits there. I don't want to be snowed in and stuck at the airport.
  3. Great monitoring Dal !! Been sometime since I came here... already forgotten my password. This gives me a more time to work on my programs. Getting it to work on MagiC is a real dog.
  4. The Atari-Forums Wiki does have a page on the method for transferring files between Atari and other computers. http://www.atari-forum.com/wiki/index.php?title=Transferring_Files It includes links to page for simple NULL modem transfer to using SMB network file sharing on Windows ( Samba for you Linux users ).
  5. Here are step-by-step guide to partition a hard drive using ICD Pro and HDDriver. However, it is for a smallish drive, so you may want to it to the partition size limit.
  6. It's right at my web site http://phsw.110mb.com/nw-w7ppp.html But it for Mint on the Atari side. However, you can always configure STING to use PPP to avoid MInt.
  7. You should be able to format a large drive using HDDriver. I have done 60GB before and no issues. However, ICD Pro have an issue with drive larger drive, I was not able to partition a 30GB drive but I can partition 10GB drive with it. Look at the Atari Forum wiki on boot partition limitation.
  8. Parity should be off as MSTE does not do parity. Look at the AF wiki on Hints for MSTE
  9. The new hardware looks great..... and so does the food..
  10. Yes, I use Aranym alot probably because of Mint rather than games. But Aranym is a Falcon class emulator.
  11. STEEM... but it's an STE series emulator, a bit more than the 520/1040 ST series.
  12. No space and time.... that's my problem. Falcon CT63+ CTPCI is my main machine. I try to go round robin on my Atari but mostly on CT63.
  13. A STE model should be great for games. 1040STE or 520STE... and get a floppy emulator so you can store all your games on a SD card.
  14. Nothing fits from that big bag of Falcon hard disk brackets?? I wondered how it was an original Atari part so I looked at those from my Falc which I took off to install the CF reader and the CTPCI... both had the Atari Cxxxxx numbers on it. So that's how you know if they are original parts
  15. They are different. See my pics in a post in AF.
  16. hah... so may be a Falcon with CT60 will blocking your turn soon?
  17. For power, get a 110V to 240V transformer. You need US TOS roms. You can get them from Simbo over at Atari-Forum.com. You just need to change the Keycaps on your keyboard. You can get them from KLund1 (I think he is here as well but I got it from Atari-forum.com). There is an extra key on the German keyboard, between the Z and Shift keys (US Z location). But the US Left Shift keycaps is longer and will cover the extra key. (That's what happened to mine). Be sure that you get the US ROM before change the keycaps as the ASCII code will generate German "symbols" on the screen. The monitor is German... you mean the volume / on-off switch are in German, right? That will not matter because you figure which one is which.
  18. I am using a 240V step down to 110V transformer for my US Falc. Been using it like that since 1995 or so when I got my Falc from the US.

  22. My offer is still available... http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/171992-best-place-to-buy-a-falcontt-030/page__view__findpost__p__2145282 With the original Atari TT030 box plus packing material, the box edges are taped to provide extra strength. But still it's an original box.
