Atariage does not delete any threads unless they are offensive or innaropriate.  This is a good thing,  The history of Atari 2600 absolutely lives here. Deleting threads because you dont want to see old threads is assinine.

On topic, this was already an old thread. I dont have the game anymore. I thought i bought it years ago from Atari4you but it was 4retrogamers. Still i was sort of hoping it was a semi repro from Atari4you but after all this time 4retrogamers sold more copies of the game so that answered my question sort of... As repro as they advertised.

I know champ games has a lot of roms, but those are a different website correct?  thus they are not going away or is there a larger connection between all of these.  

 

My apologies on being out of the loop on 2600 homebrews / ports.  I have spent more time in other consoles up till now but i've been wanting to expand my homebrew collection for the 2600 as well so this kinda shifted my focus given the potential change coming..

I would guess Atariage will not be offering/sponsoring the ROMs on the site.   I am sure you can find them with a little effort if you realy want them.

I purchased a Jaguar a year or two ago and this cart was included with it.  I just set it aside and figured it was Cybermorph.  The interesting part was that the console had 4 holes bored into the shell.  I have been wondering what they were for.  This would explain the holes, It was probably pulled from a Speedster II cabinet.

I hooked up the Jaguar and took a couple pictures.  It is in fact Speedster II not a racing game.  It does not have a title screen on this version, just the developer "Carousel International Corporation "

It is a racing game.  I have dabbled in Jaguar, but I really don't collect for it 

 

I did close up the cart to protect the Eproms.  The game came without a label and no screws to hold it together.  I was testing a Jag unit with the cart and dropped it.

Not a big contributer in the Jag forums here.  I am primarily a 2600 guy.  

I dropped this Jag Cart today and it popped open. It looks like it may have EPROMs inside.  Is this maybe a loaner cart?
