  1. CIB games are selling for great prices right now. The loose games are definately in a lull. I would sell the game if you have no interest in collecting or playing Atari, yeah it may appreciate some in the next 5-10 years, but probably not as much as youwould hope. Take the cash, buy some Gold with it if you want an investment.
  2. OMG I had no idea what I would see in this thread. Very funny, the spelling, not the videos. Thanks, I did get a few laughs.
  3. For a long time playstation was my only gaming system owned, then at launch I bought a PS2(should have sold that one) so I could play my PS1 one games. With the release of next gen consoles I bought the WII almost imeadiately, one of the reasons, BC, I could find cheap Last gen games at Gamestop or another reseller of games to go with . I always assumed I would get a PS3, but when they did away with the BC I purchased a 360. It is so much easier having 1 system hooked up and play all your great library games than to have hook up another system . Playstation lost me as a customer for that reason. I probably g t one near the end of its cycle(just to have in my collection) but they wont be making money from new games from me. I was a Playstation fan boy, but no longer
  4. CIB? Wow quite a find. Where did you get it? The POP center in new condition will bring a pretty penny if you can find the right buyer. The problem with selling something like this is that it is so large and would have to be sent freight(I assume) so it will probably limit your prespective buyers to a local area or there williness to pay a premium price. In My NOT so expert opinion you could probably get 500-1000 for it easily If you can find the right buyer 1500 to 3000
  5. Miss a day Miss a Lot! I just caught up with Tanner's Air Raid Thread. Guess I would have to say under on this one now
  6. I knew we would see more of these with all the attention of Tanner's auction. We should have an over/under on the number of known copies by known by the end of summer. Use like 25 as the number. I say over
  7. Well I threw a bid up on the newest Air raid auction, now the highest bidder, but I don't see it staying that way as the shit cart went for 1700. Really will be in trouble with the wife if I go too high.
  8. I have one, Everything wooks fine but I never use it, I usually use one of my 2600's. Would like to get one CIB though.
  9. That's a major concern of mine too. For all I know it may be Space Jockey inside of it! Got the Pics, The games seems to be in working order, but man the cart is HIT! I don't think I'll be bidding any higher than 1k. After contemplating this picture, I think we have our first Air Raid cart that was in an actual air raid! +1
  10. I like the title, any plans to release this in cart form? I will be first in line.
  11. Yeah, I am done with this auction. The handle definately look a little warped. In real bad shape!
  12. That's a major concern of mine too. For all I know it may be Space Jockey inside of it! Got the Pics, The games seems to be in working order, but man the cart is HIT! I don't think I'll be bidding any higher than 1k.
  13. There's some schmuck in Milwaukee who posted an ad on CL looking for those same games from that one article. Maybe I should try that to fill out my collection. Offer 100 bucks each.
  14. Ohohoh that's a good one. When bank executives are getting million dollar bonuses for failing to do any sort of due diligence, how can you claim that with a straight face? I personally don't work a tenth as hard as a rag picker in India, yet I make 100 times as much. It would be nice if what you said was true, but it's not. I absolutely do not want to start a political argument ,but the reason why a "Rag Picker" In india doesn't make 1/100 of what you do is because they are not in the same free market we are. So really you are making my point for me.
  15. By the way Wonder, If I make it out to LA I too would like to see your collection. I hope soon to be able to give you a run for your money on these high profile auctions.

  17. In this condition I think $1k is a fair price but then again I wouldn't be suprised to see someone drop alot more on it even though it's not "worth more than that". It might be "worth more than that" to whoever to have it right now and a foolish high bid is what they are gonna have to pay to own one right now condition of the cart be damned. Thanks, I thought 1000 was a fair price as well, I am still waiting for the pics, It does look rough. I would be willing to go a little higher if I like the pics, but I am figuring that the pics aren't going to make me want to go higher.
  18. Can't really blame him for having the money, or spending it how he wishes. Better to blame the system for allowing such income disparity. Yeah $30K is more than a lot of people make in a year. But spending $300 on a PS3 is more than a lot of people in India make in a year. One isn't really any more unjust than the other. "The System" The free market is why we have such a great life here in the US. The system rewards hard work and risk. Without "The system" we wouldn't have people striving to be the best. We wouldn't have people who are willing to work their ass off to get a reward down the road. If I had the means I would have been bidding right their with him.
