  1. Yes, changing cru has nothing to do with the PI.. make sure you switch with the PEB off though.
  2. looks like @RedBaron posted 2.0 version on facebook..
  3. there was a port to the 4/a it never made it past prototype but we have it in the community here also robots of death (and sequels) are amazing
  4. shouldn't it ignore it if tipi is at 1000 and there's no disks mapped? no because the psystem grabs the first controller it sees.. so tipi needs to be > 1100
  5. The tipi log may be helpful.. why don't you grab it from the web interface and post it to the tipi support topic here:
  6. I tend to move my tipi to 1800 to get it 'out of the way' for anything trying to use it.. that said, it should fall over if you have nothing mapped to DSK1. DSK2. DSK3. etc when it is on 1000.. though if you put tipi at 1100 and take out your disk controller it can be used for pascal without issue (mapping the appropriate drives to disks)
  7. @jedimatt42 can answer better but i don't think there will be another rom update for a good while, the last one was over a year ago.
  8. of course..all of them can btw just need the right connection
  9. @PeteE@Asmusr js99er needs an update for the new rom?
  10. pretty much useless doesn't really do anything but allow you to connect sockets over it to to something on the wifi that you have to write from scratch too
  11. Likely there would need to have that routine patched to jump to a new routine that worked better then return properly - no source is available that i have seen so this will have to be done in GPL/assembly by Op codes patched in the cart image
  12. forgot about meteor belt.. another good one
  13. someone asks this about every 5mo.. NO there is no way to clean it without ruining the finish.. it's some sort of laminate.. you can scrape it all off and polish the aluminium but then it will have no logo/name and be weird looking
  14. drive transfer speed too.. 1541 vs shugart is a no contest winner on the TI side
