  1. I just built one as well. Had zero problems getting it running. https://sphotos-b.xx...411104870_n.jpg is my board with the hacky wiring You can see i just cut the lead of the chip where the interrupt is off the board and bent it up and attached a wire to it and the the other side of the switch is just wired to the test point on that same trace down near the peb connector (because I'm lazy and soldered it to the easier spot The other three wires were soldered to chips and the other test point per his instructions at http://members.ziggo.nl/fredgkaal/Pics/ti99hdx/ti99-rs232-complete.gif And the resistor removed at R19.. Greg
  2. use my xb loader for ea5 images you got from the atari games.. just protect the first file
  3. That's exactly what i have set up (CF7 and F18a) Perhaps for update 2.0
  4. You could use Fred's hdx code possibly to load from a pc with serial? Greg
  5. If the loader is mine, you have to protect the files that are the first file of each game for it to work correctly. Use a disk manager tool like dm2k or the cf7 cfmgr program to protect the first file in each series. So if the game is pacman theres pacman, pacmao pacmap etc.. just protect pacman and it'll come up on the list.. the loader loads the files sequentially off the first file. Lots of games here also: http://tigameshelf.net/ Greg McGill
  6. Fred's back online: http://members.ziggo.nl/fredgkaal/index.html
  7. http://ftp.whtech.com/ click on fredkaal folder and there's his library of files.. he sent them to me to host there while he was offline he should be moved in to his new place now and rebuilding his website soon as well. Greg
  8. Note: Fred Kaal's sites are down until April 2012 due to his relocating. I am uploading his files to ftp.whtech.com/fredkaal most of them are already there will get the rest there asap. Greg
  9. You can telnet or use the web interface to chat on thekeep.net.. http://www.thekeep.net/ and click on chat at the top..account required to chat or telnet in.. dialout to hidden reef too free..and that new bbs just put up is in dialout as well.. just telnet in and /go dialout to dial.. Greg
  10. Very very nice work Richard As you know I have upload access to ftp.whtech.com so I created an RXB area under /programming and moved all the zips I could find on whtech over there + added 2012.. Anything else you or anyone else wants up there just lmk. Greg BBS - http://www.thekeep.net telnet:thekeep.net (dial out access to the last 2 TI BBS's around!) arcadeshopper.com
  11. Frame-skip is irrelevant to timing issues on my core2 laptop and core2quad machines. Both running nvidia video cards the quad has a 275 which is more than enough horsepower.. Greg
  12. I will check that out. On this computer, I can run Eve Online in wine without frame skips.. but perhaps your program does more Greg
  13. THIS ONE! I'm told it works fine under Wine, though, so, just out of curiousity, what's the advantage? It doesn't seem like much is really gained for the investment in time and support? Sorry for being snippy lately, haven't got much sleep in the last long while. It doesn't work fine under Wine, if that were the case then I wouldn't say anything Once I get the DLL's it requires from the compiler it loads without errors but it has timing issues. It runs slow as molasses on normal TI speed. Greg
  14. Thanks, I'm glad it's helpful to people. Linux probably won't happen anytime soon, but I won't say never. I've been eyeing some cross-platform devkits and wondering what projects might be good for them. THIS ONE!
  15. just downloaded and tried, when I tried moving i got a error in line 2750 which is a if then goto, in basic there's no goto is there? if then lineno. fixed that and it works now. Greg Well that's odd let me dl it and check. I don't know how but that was the wrong file? I uploaded the new one. I'm having alot of trouble with my uploads, not sure why.
  16. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/11300947 It's an older ver, I need to move the latest over to the real TI. And it's hard to play while watching on the recorder
  17. I'll record it for you if you like. will post when its done Greg Got a link to it? Adamantyr
  18. Ok, I looked and for the life of me can't figure out where the hell to download from for the contest thing..help! nevermind I found it 30 sec after I wrote this Greg
  19. I've made it to level 7 now.. had to stop to eat dinner with the endless loop fixed i can get past 5 with about 3095325953 trys I've noticed on level 6 i tend to hover a bit.. up by the boxes walking on air Greg
  20. Save it in emu to cs1, old cs1 on ti plugged into speaker jack on pc, play wav? Greg
  21. Couple things.. 1- bug is still there if you pop up on a floor your stuck in a loop if the other portal is also on the floor no escape can't even R to restart can't walk out of the portal on the floor no matter what I try 2- its too big to run in ti basic on a real 99/4a (yep I tried it) call files(1) got it to old.. then it won't run. 3- it runs REAL GOOD in Myarc extended basic II on my real 99/4a with 128k fast!!! still can't get past level 5 Greg
  22. I may have found an endless loop, if you put portals on the floor in two places and shove a box in and then walk in yourself you alternate you, box, you, box and it seems to ignore keys.. Greg
  23. WOW Owen just drug me here.. This is super mega cool dude. Can't wait to see the next levels Greg McGill arcadeshopper.com
