  1. Gee, maybe it's just been so long since I've played Adventure, that I've already got stars in my eyes for the upcoming release. Granted, it's only a map at this point. Still I can't wait to see what's going to fill this awesome game. My son has a PS2, and I hate all these role-playing games like Final Fantasy. For some reason I am just drawn to the basics. CafeMan has taken Robinett's jewel, and made it kick-ass....that's all!
  2. Adventure II is awesome!! I've played the demo (which is already awesome) and I can't wait to get this cart in my hot little hands! Way to go CafeMan! Mr. Robinett would be proud...if not picking his jaw up off the floor after he saw this amazing gameplay. When you finally get this cart out, can I get an autographed copy? -Daniel Griswell
  3. I'm sure this will be one of the best games ever for the 5200. Adventure was definitely one of my favorites for the 2600, so the 32K can only make it better! Keep me posted Cafeman!
  4. Will there be any litlle "microdots" in the game? I sure hope so!
  5. Cafeman...how much longer? I've got my checkbook ready, man!
  6. I imagine he just liked the game....seing that ROTJ is quite rare also, and he only wanted a buck for it just like the Pac-Man cart he had. BBSB is fun to play....wish I had it. I know that Centipede is very common, but I love the game, and if someone wanted me to part with my Centipede cart, I'd say "no way" also.
  7. Gotta love the flea markets! I ran across a real find over the weekend. Someone was selling their entire 5200 collection. He only had a few games left, as he was selling them for $1.00 each, but I managed to get Kangaroo, Pole Position, Miner 2049er, and ROTJ Death Star battle...plus a set of controllers for $5.00. He said he had only one game he was holding onto for the time being, and I grinned at him when he pulled Bounty Bob out of his truck. Oh well. I've never really liked playing Death Star Battle.....anybody want to trade for Bounty Bob...(like that'll happen)
  8. Okay, this one piqued my curiosity...BIG TIME! One problem, though....what program is used to make these two games run? I've tried using Z26, but to no avail.....
  9. I appreciate it! I live out in the middle of no where, and "shops" can be hard to find. I'll occasionally run across a 2600 cart or two, but 5200 carts are like needles in a haystack out here. *dueling banjos plays in the distance*
  10. Anybody have a spare copy of Blue Print they would like to sell? Email me! danielgriswell@yahoo.com I've wanted to play this one since I first saw it on my neighbor's 5200 back in 1985.
  11. 8 amps?! Wow! What was that power supply for originally? If it's 8 amps and not 800mA, don't use it....it will fry the atari and possible start a fire with a rating that high. You need a power supply that will put out between 1 and 1.2 amps. Anything higher will cause damage to your system.
  12. Did you get my order from earlier? I hope mine wasn't too late. If not, it seems I have once again come up a day late. I seem to always be one step behind
  13. I've been told this is a lot like asking 2600 users if they need Pac-Man. Still, I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask. I bought my son a whole box full of 2600 games for the console I gave him, and lo and behold, there was one 7800 game in the box--Pole Position II. The label is a bit rough, and since I don't have a 7800, I have no way to test it. If you've got any 2600 or 5200 games you'd like to trade for it, let me know. I figured I'd try an even swap with an AtariAge user before I put it up on ebay. Happy Gaming, folks!

  15. All good suggestions! I'll keep them in mind when I'm looking for a PS for the unit.
