  1. Sorry patbb, but I had to one-up you... I've been loving the challenge, and I hope you come back to put another score up before time has expired... New score : 158,420
  2. If I remember right, original bot is 300 pts, needing 5,000 to go to new bot (and the bats turning into level 1 bots if hit) Level 2 bot (single hit) 500pts per hit, level 3 at 15,000 Level 3 bot (White-triple hit) 1,000pts per hit, level 4 at 30k Level 4 bot (Black-triple hit/white bullet) 2,000pts per hit, level 5 at 50k Level 5 bot (Black-triple hit/gold bullet/destroys bunker) 2,500pts per hit (I believe 70k for level 6) Level 6 bot (Blue-triple hit(invisible)/gold bullet/destroys bunker) Here's a screenshot of the game I played to get the info..
  3. Watching them pull out an INTV Zamboni between levels on Thin Ice Don't get me wrong I can do okay on Commando, just never cared for it.
  4. Welcome to the fun addicting if I may say so, world of the Stalker... They seem easy at first, until that nasty black robot that blasts your bunker to kingdom come, and if that wasnt enough, keep going and they turn his butt "invisible" (the same color as the background)... Cheeky little sneaks
  5. I never really cared for Commando (never really cared much of the INTV late releases) but Thin Ice (Duncan version of course) can be cool
  6. Beauty and the Beast and/or Lock 'n Chase would be cool games to do
  7. Most of us "kiddies" who grew up on the INTV preferred the "challenge and completity" compared to the otherwise simplistic controls of say the VCS.
  8. the No Miss variation counts score upwards, not downwards like the earlier skill levels. Yes Strike can be a "insert term for a female dog here", but it is that way in a fair and challenging way, not by having cheap deaths etc some other later 80s machine was famous for
  9. New high for this challenge... 130,940 and the game was being extremely tough, it did not give me an "E" the entire ten levels this game took up. I guess what doesn't kill thee makes thee stronger
  10. That's correct, try level 6 now, and your not allowed to miss a single Red target or Planet Earth goes bye bye!
  11. That does sound about right, as Mattel did do a re-write with the EXEC file for the INTV 2 series. But the 2 wasn't the only console that could go insane, I have an original system that actually doubles the sprites on screen, split about 50% down the display (and the kicker, both are in play)
  12. C'mon, Lock 'n Chase and Burgertime are two big ones that show given the right attention (and rights to the games), arcade games can be done and done well on the INTV system.
  13. First two games of LadyBug, and the 2nd one ticks me off as I was right next to that dang "A" when I got nailed.
  14. Best I’ve ever seen is 245, and the game does do a little cheer with a crash for any score exceeding 200 pts in a line of bowling (or 75 if your doing the “pick - up - spares” version.
  15. About LadyBug -Yes, cause the skull sets the enemy count to less than 4, and the 4th enemy is what makes the veggie appear in the middle, it can actually be done repeatively on a level if pulled off right. - I’m not sure on the “Special” spelling, as I never saw it happen on the INTV version. If anyone can confirm this, that would be great. The Red Color however corresponds to 800pts per item (arcade) compared to 500 (yellow) and 100(blue). - I may be new here, but not to the INTV. I’ll be firing up the bug later tonight.
  16. the only thing I hate on Diner is the “bonus round” every 4 levels, if you get a bad colored ball face, or step where part of the level disappears, the bonus ends but it ALSO TAKES A LIFE! lol
  17. I never liked the “sequel” of the game, as it just seemed it was rushed and to get it out the door, they just lifted the Beast graphics so they could have a tie-in to a game that was going to be unrelated. As for Beast, it seems simplistic at first, giving you an extra life every 2 segments, but in the higher buildings, good luck on getting more than 1-2 per entire building (Also the game loves giving you “Awesome” skyplane remarks after the 3rd building afterwords, and a 1 word encouragement above the building counter that changes after every 5 buildings.
  18. I tried to run the DK version here, but it crashes any emu I send it thru (Nostalgia, jsINTV), am I missing a file or a bad dump somewhere?
  19. The Aquarius, the machine with so little that was able to do so much, just look at BurgerTime or AD&D Tarmin on the Aquarius if you doubt it
