I got a Colecovision from Yurkie also. Its in perfect condition and works perfectly. I just concluded a deal to get a atari adapter for it from him. I am confidient in his craftsmanship, and would buy again from him in the future. Fixx

Ok I now understand. the program will NOT work with external Floppies. I am lucky I have an old laptop around that has a nice floppy drive in it. I am greatful for the information you guys are giving me. I do have a original Atari Monitor with my 1040ST. So I guess I will be getting some use out of that fella... Fixx

Thanks for the links!! I guess that solves the software problem!! The only other thing I would like to accomplish is somehow connecting it to a monitor. I did get a monitor with it, but would love to connect it to my 24inch LCD. there is no RF modulator in her, so I assume that this is impossible??? Fixx

basically I want to play games and do general stuff. I am looking into getting a external 1.44MB floppy drive for my PC so I can make images into floppies for it. I have seen some ST's doing some pretty awesome stuff, I cant wait to try to get it to do some good stuff and see it for myself. Fixx

Well, I finally got myself a 1040ST. It came with a monitor and cables, but nothing else. I did find a Satandisk for it as well. Forgive my "stupid question" but I am totally new to the ST and I really dont know what to do with it next. She does boot up and all. It appears to be a pretty stock ST. Fixx
