Most of the PEB's are overpriced on eBay, and then with shipping to Canada even more costly. -- I did a few weeks ago buy a Canadian PEB that was for sale because it was priced low and included a Horizon 4000 and Flex Cable, so it was worth it. But yeah I am in the same boat, I got like 3 PEB's I am not using, all they are being used for is to store extra PEB cards, I have a bunch of original rs232, 32k, ti disk controllers. i might use another peb soon once i get another flex cable card and another peb joiner for it, as my main systems are packed full, no extra slots, and i need more free slots to add more cards, at the rate i am going i might end up with 3 peb's on one console, if i could find a way to connect all 3 flex cables together, have a total of 21 slots (7 per box). but you only have 16 cru addresses officially, but still there is cards that don't use a cru like the SAMS, and if i move the speech inside to peb as well, that 18 for sure 16 at cru's and 2 with no cru, does the forti sound card use a cru? if not, that would bring it up to 19 in total. -- Hmm, how to get all 21 slots used!

Just use @F.G. Kaal TIDIR program it converts PC files to DIS/fix128 with no issues, I used it for the sample GIF's I included with my release.

It would be great if it supported the direct to CPU for transfers. The horizon Ramdisk does, and I used that feature many times for my programs. And also when I used to have a working mfm drive for my hdfc. Thinking of this does the Scsi DSR support it?

I also believe Firefox now caches the URL domain for a download that been triggered and afterwards it just automatically says nope. Same domain instant don't allow even if a different file. If you have your Firefox clear cache and all cookies on exit it helps.

The problem with AI doing assembly, is what type of program can you generate without any user input, display, sound, etc. as all those things are more it would have to understand like the tms9918 for video and how it is accessed at least on the ti99 side. A pure 9900 cpu only program it should be I hope able to do if you leave out anything to do with external devices or input. Try something like a math formula with known values or a counter something simple and see if at least it understands the tms9900 instruction set.

Yes so added colors would be nice you how funnelweb does it, but then the program would have to detect true v9938 or f18a 80 column mode, as each handle colors in text mode differently with f18a giving you more options.

Does it stay on the info screen? Or just a black background? On the info screen does arrow keys work to adjust the left/right up/down and then after adjusting did you press enter? It should NOT be using any PAL settings. Did you try a regular floppy on the Geneve or ide or Scsi? Wondering if it's a problem with dsr disk access? Finally, how many colors does it say if 002 then the graphic you trying to load has been generated by a newer GIF program that is not following the old original gif89a specs. I found at first when retesting this program it wouldn't load images I saved in paint.net but it would load ones saved by good old Microsoft Windows Paint. And only after I added the lowcolor plugin to paint.net did it generate gif files that this viewer understands without errors.

Yes not a problem all source released on GitHub as gnu 3 you welcome to do what you want with it. Would be nice to get maybe the colors working better but not sure if that possible without an external pallette chip. Did you notice I included you as one of the sample gifs, of course much younger back then.

I forgot about that "ini" switch, i guess its not in the drop-down menus! -- haha -- As I was able to load like 4 slots of groms 5 to 7 but only 1 slot of console groms. -- i will try that switch and see if i can get all 8 slots running with each with 8 different groms (well the main part the first 6k of console grom 0 should always be the same, otherwise you end up with lockups! Only thing left to emulate the pop-cart would be to tie the rom pages to the banked console groms as well, with each block of 4 pages (32k) set to switch to the matching console rom, for how that works hardware see the tech pages on modding the 3 slot widget, the pop-cart basically did that for up to 8 slots, so you would have 256k of ROM >6000 but divided into 8 sections of 32k (4 pages), or if 16 slots then of course that would be 512k divided into 16 sections of 32k (4 pages). (when I publish the pop-cart source code, you will most likely understand better how it works) of course i rather you win the lottery and buy some outside walls for v4.00 instead of patching v3. some more you going to run out of 999's soon, or we end up with v3.999999999999999901b at this rate!
