  1. Neat mixture of keys... Not too bad price for a /4... I never seen these auctions before as they are hidden from view to us Canadians... You Americans get so many more and better auctions.. I need to setup a alt. ebay account with usa vpn and address, just so i can browse everything.
  2. Three Fortnite Red vs Blue PRIME bottles sold on an eBay listing for over $163,000
  3. For some strange reason my new GitHub for Diskodex I just noticed had all the same files as my first repo for 3DStringArt. (weird) I really am a total noobie when it comes to using Git, but it's fixed now. Hopefully, for my 3rd release I will get it right the first time! Wish me luck...
  4. I did some more testing, and with my second release on AtariAge, I noticed something, I attached to zip files, one was made with latest WinRar v7.00 with nothing but 'text' files in it, and the other larger one complete with binaries, and object code, and etc. i made just using the default windows 10 sent to compressed folder, and guess what that file downloads file with no warning from any browser, but the WinRar smaller text only zip, still comes up with a warning, and I think that is because browsers are checking the PK ZIP header itself, and some versions have been flagged as 'security risk', so it seems it is best not to use WinRar even the latest version.
  5. Phoenix 2001 Diskodex v1.01 Source Code Release from the O.P.A. 1989 Archive Here is another great release, this program was first written by me and Cecil Chin back in 1989 with the manual written by my dad, and was one of my first commercially sold programs, under the "Phoenix 2001" label, which at the time meant that the useful of the software would at least last until year 2001, and in part was a nod to my love for the Space Odyssey, and my brand-new projects I am working on now in the year 2024 will soon be released under the "Phoenix 2061" label, keeping with the trend and usefulness of being valid to use on your TI-99/4a or emulators or future hardware until the year 2061 and for my love of classic Sci-Fi. Enjoy! 🥳 -=(GaryOPA)=- (The above description of Diskodex 2001 was quoted from my website: https://garyopa.com/diskodex/ ) (The large v1.01 release ZIP contains everything, screenshot, manual, disk image, source tree in PC & TIFIlLES formats and the ready to run assembled TI99 E/A #5 binaries) Also available on my GitHub as well: https://github.com/gary99opa/Diskodex2001 * PHOENIX 2001 DISKODEX v1.01 by O.P.A. * * 1989 Source Code Release * By Oasis Pensive Abacutors * Via Gary Bowser (GARYOPA) * Released April 14th, 2024 * Uploaded to ti99.atariage.com * CATLOG-S -> DiskodeX Main Source Assemble File CATLOG-M12 -> DX Catalog/Delete/Update/Disklist! 6. Just want to say thank you again. Your library of manuals and vast knowledge and sharing of it is much appreciated. Thank you again for all your valuable service in the past, and your willing to make sure it has been preserved and the equipment ends up in a good home.
  7. Well, I am located in Canada, and more than willing to help repair your unit if you want, if all else fails. But postage cost was, I am sure you can find someone more local in the usa to handle the repair for you.
  8. Why Oh why.. flex cable firehose has been ripped off and this seller wants over thousand dollars, crazy world! https://www.ebay.ca/itm/204738542605
  9. When you got to transport the whole library of congress with you, imagine the amount of PDFs you can carry with you now: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Western-Digital-s-368-TB-SSD-weighs-28-to-33-pounds-and-is-portable.826532.0.html
  10. Nothing better than using a voltage regulator to do some SMT desoldering work... WciZF1byFDkL3LPZ.mp4
  11. Xmas in July... Why not... https://www.hallmark.com/ornaments/keepsake-ornaments/original-xbox-console-ornament-with-light-and-sound-2299QXI7944.html Hallmark will have an Xbox Console Ornament (with light and sound) for $22.99 on July 13th. The ornament features the console bootup sound and music from Halo: Combat Evolved
  12. started a new topic about it, and included the pictures of the cartridge dongle i have left:
  13. Sadly, I lost my original big Pizza Box metal clamshell part for the Grom Simulator that TI made themselves, but I still have the original "Cartridge Dongle" thingy. And been thinking of using it for some new projects being tested, as it is easy way to get all the cartridge signals lines out and has some buffer chips as well, plus two off/on switches. I want to map it out and make a schematic and label the two ribbon pin headers, but if someone has already done that work in past and has documentation, that would be great help!
  14. From my tests, it nothing to do with extensions as a zip file containing just .txt files does the same. Also I uploaded the same .zip files and .txt files to my GitHub https://github.com/gary99opa/3DStringArt And they download fine from there even the full release zip with compiled binaries in it. So my thinking still is that the URL or CDN itself is flagged by some service that all the browsers are using so it doesn't matter what the file is, all tho for some strange reason you can still download a .PDF without a warning.
  15. Yeah, I have one of my black 4a consoles starting to do the double tripping on me. At least my v2.2 qi console keyboard still working perfectly and my other black 4a one doing ok still. But still nice that soon we will have replacement options, as long as you have donor key caps, we will start to see bundles on eBay with just key caps going up in price soon.
  16. Hmm. Never heard of that before how do you enable the ram part? And is that only for rom? And I guess it doesn't write back to the sdcards, so if you shutdown it loses the ram. And this only for 7000 space no option yet for gram changes?
  17. I will take some pictures of my gsim dongle I have left tomorrow and maybe you can let me know which version I have and help me with the pinouts do I can make usage of it, since it's just sitting in the junk drawer right now.
  18. I guess the blue connector allow you still to plug in a regular cartridge as well.
  19. Looks beautiful... Love the layout and no SMT and the voltage regulator part looks nice, and the dual connections and usb power part.
  20. Super Sketch for sale, still a decent price but 5 days left for bidding. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/226086669848
  21. Cool..do you have any pictures of it. I still have my official TI99 dongle for the cartridge connector that converts the port into two ribbon cable connectors with two switches with the buffer chips to be able to line draw a cable, originally used for the official pizza box gram/grom emulator and other test devices, lost the pizza box but still have the official cartridge dongle part, been thinking of mapping out the ribbon pin wiring and getting a breadboard for the other end to make some tests on some new designs myself.
