  1. I figured it out. Found a video of a Falcon being upgraded and showed it had a small 4mb card that was used so ram appears all card based. tj
  2. My Falcon manual say's Falcons came in 1MB, 4MB, and 14MB models. Is any of this ram actually on the Motherboard, like the 1MB and 4MB, but to go to 14MB, you use an daughtercard, or is all forms of ram a small card that plugs onto the motherboard? Never explored a Falcon before in the inside and curious. TJ
  3. Agreed, but funny how much what is there WEIGHS! haha. Issue is, I have tons of Sinclair QL mags that may fill up 1/2 of what is left. TJ
  4. Thanks, I have some Current Notes. I will grab this PDF though as not sure I have this issue. Thanks TJ
  5. I have emailed them to check on prices. Thanks, TJ
  6. I suspect one day I will use Magic with Jinnee as a everyday setup but I will enjoy exploring many combos. Thanks MrMaddog and Zogging Hell for your answers. TJ
  7. I come from time I never explored MultiTOS, as mid 90s I was leaving Atari and moving onto Mac. I had a Mega 2ST so was not an option, I don't think, and did not own a Falcon or TT in the day. I read MultiTOS is slow, and you know how Mint, etc... BUT... coming back into Atari to enjoy picking up where I left off, and that MultiTOS does not need the same memory or space the current Mint does, thinking about exploring MultiTOS on my TT030 once I install 2MB more ST ram. Anyone here still use MultiTOS on their TT030 or Falcon. Any words of wisdom for me? Just curious if anyone still uses it.
  8. Not familiar with SLCC. Is that an Atari group that does zoom based meetings? Do tell.... TJ
  9. I see you are in NorCal. Where abouts? I am about 1 hour from Sacramento. Wish there was an Atari group around here. Sac has a great Amiga club but no Atari that I know of. TJ
  10. Just curious for those with TT030 and have some TT Ram, what apps or games are you using that utilize that memory? I see the stock Atari TT Ram board can use 4MB to 16MB, and these newer devices like Storm with TONS of memory, but what have you all found that could use and needed this extra memory. Just curious. TJ
  11. I take it there is only really ONE ram upgrade for the ST side of things? That TT upgrades like the Storm are only able to affect and help with memory stuff for apps that take advantage of the TT ram side of things, or hardware that does as well. As much as buying a 8MB ST option, wonder if the 2MB making 4MB total is fine for most all situations. I have never had a ST above 2MB as of yet. haha TJ
  12. Thanks. I emailed them to see if they still offer one for sale. TJ
