you could print 4 circles (7 mm diameter) in the back plate to paste rubber feet ; or maybe 5 with one in the center
OK.

You are THE man

Many thanks for getting these made.

I wonder if would be easier to just order a replacement speakjet or have one sent and test that since they are in a socket I believe?
Send the SpeakJet chip back to Albert and he will re-program it.
I've got a feeling the chip's baud rate is slightly off.

Can you send me your AVox ?, I want to have a look at it.

Update: I just got verification from an owner... these were 001's.
Nice one - thanks !
Know anyone with a sealed AGS-101 for sale ?
-
The box just says 'New integrated screen light'. Which I suppose sounds like a front-light (as previous GBA's had no light at all).
I think I'll pass on this one.
Thanks

Can a GBA expert help me out here ?.
I want to make this EBay guy an offer on this still sealed GBA -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182339069202?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
But, he doesn't know if it is a AGS-101 (and won't break the seal to check the console).
Anyone familiar with that box / colour ?
Thanks !

I am wondering whether Richard's 3D print design will work for the first batch of controller kits.
Are the latest boards quite a bit smaller than the first batch ?
Can you roughly estimate the printing cost/volume of used material?I'll do that. I just need to alter the design to make it a bit stronger first.
It just fitted on the bed of my printer. Took 1 hour 26 minutes on fast print (0.3mm layers).

Are you saying this is likely a power issue?
Could be. I think it's definitely worth trying.
Run a new wire from the negative leg of C3 to the center post off the audio jack?Yes. Don't forget, the volume pot on the AtariVox is also being bypassed.
-
To save power, you could try disabling the amp in the AtariVox. If you're using amplified (independently powered) speakers you won't need it.
Remove the LM386 (should be in a socket) and tap your amp to the negative side of capacitor C3.

They will be available soon.
I have everything here to build them (apart from time).

I'd be willing to model / print one, but I don't fancy taking my controller to pieces.
Is the part plastic or metal ?

printing one now
Did it come out OK ?

I can print one for you if you want (I'm in the UK though).
