  2. OK, should be quite easy.

  4. Looking to buy an original Vectrex lightpen. Loose is OK. Thanks
  5. This circuit connects to a PC's serial port and will read/write the AVox / MemKey. Very cheap and easy to build (no SMD components / firmware). I have the driver software somewhere.
  6. Looks like the brightness is turned up too far. Perhaps that pot is also broken.
  7. This is my alternate Avox case which does fit the 7800. I can supply the .stl files if anyone wants to 3D print one.

  9. The microcontroller was badly soldered in (misaligned with the pads)
  10. Started work on the 3D-printed case. I put in more PCB spacers on the board to reduce the wiring.
  11. I've fixed your AtariVox+. PM me with your shipping address. Thanks
  12. I'm going to have a go at 3D printing a case once my kit gets here.
  13. Send it to me, I'll have a look at it for you.
  14. I would say that's possible. It's definitely not directly caused by the Avox. Some display distortions can be caused by a faulty PSU.
  15. http://hackaday.com/2014/02/19/ft232rl-real-or-fake/ It's fake. I've had some of these and they work slower / more inconsistently than the genuine part
  16. If you want to 3D print one, here's a model I did (with 'D' shaped hole) - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1257787
  17. I used to own one. It was the most beautiful, hand-crafted controller I've ever seen, a real work of art. Broke my heart when I had to sell it
  18. I have tried clear filament but it turns out semi-opaque. It's the defraction caused by the multiple layers.
  19. This is the current VecMulti case. It's silver PLA printed on glass (nice shiny surface) and I used my vinyl cutter to make the lettering.
  20. It's the limits of FDM printers (the type most use at home - cheapest). Better printers, like Objet, start at about $30K (and the UV liquid is $500 per Kg).
  21. Please do it, I REALLY want to see it working
  22. OK, I've built a few AtariVox USB interfaces. If you're a developer, I will send you one for no charge. (AAMOI I recently got burned with some fake FT232RL's. These chips work inconsistently and slower than the real version)
