"Here you go. $6,000 Mac Pro, $6,000 Monitor, and we're killing iTunes."

The iMac Pro is useless for our purposes where I work - we need to use Wacom Cintiqs (external pen displays), and don't have space for dual-monitors. Plus, you can't upgrade anything - even RAM - in an iMac so-called-Pro.

The new Cheese Grater Pro is ridiculous. It's grossly overpriced for its base specs, and it still leaves a massive gap in Apple's product lineup between it and the GPU-less Mac Mini.

They've taken over two years to come up with this thing, and it still won't be shipping until "Fall" (in Applespeak: December 20). That means another academic year on the old Mac Pros. Six years, for video, audio, animation and CG production.

Thanks for nothing, Apple.
