  1. In "'Twas the Night Before Christmas", how do you know Santa wasn't alone? Because he "turned with a jerk". https://www.teachervision.com/twas-night-christmas-full-text

Santa brought Navin R. Johnson with him.

  2. 'Tis the season for giving. So why not help a fellow AtariAger out, instead of some random fat guy in a smelly red suit? https://www.gofundme.com/duanes-squishy-adjustable-bed

... or some poor old dude who lives down the street.

  3. It's that time of year again for Jingle Bells, and of course, for Batman to smell: http://atariage.com/forums/blog/118/entry-14365-justice-league-spoiler-free-review/

  4. If this is somehow supposed to make me want to buy a Nissan... it's not working. Now, if the lasers actually worked - that would be more enticing. https://www.autoblog.com/2017/11/30/nissan-star-wars-the-last-jedi-la-auto-show/

The Star Wars stuff is retarded, but Nissan has a new variable compression engine that is kind of cool.

I think that was meant for Roadrunner's post. Either that, or I overdid the double-entendres again.

I'm not on Twitter. But that was the most direct link to the photo I could find.

I was looking for photos from Free Play Florida - to see if I could spot the AtariAge setup. And lo-and-behold, there was Albert. On an autographed trading card.

Unfortunately, Twitface seems to be the only place people post photos these days.

BTW: if you haven't heard it yet, Turbo Kid has an excellent synth-laden soundtrack. Great retro movie too... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3672742/?ref_=nv_sr_1

The "real" tri-corder probably won't be a separate device; it will be a smartphone app.

  6. Awesome Star Wars Halloween costumes. Best moment @1:00.

Your just going to make me spend more $ at PRGE, aren't you.

  8. Just drew a very pensive-looking tank for an AtariAge manual.

  9. Design! Play! Enter! Win! Bask in the fame and adulation of millions! (Okay... maybe not that last one.) One day left! http://atariage.com/forums/topic/270056-draconian-δ-quadrant-sector-design-contest/

  10. I grew up watching Star Trek on a black and white TV, and always wondered, "How come those guys in the gray shirts keep getting killed every week?"

Ha. Despite being under 30, my telly for the longest time was a 5.5 inch monochrome portable, and I was confused as it was adjusted so that most of the shirt colours were nearly the same grey.

I had a 5" B&W portable TV as a kid, too; I'd play 2600 games on it, and later I set it up in my bunkbed. I'd bring it with me on long trips, and my brother rigged it and an NES to run off of a huge wad of batteries so we could play games in the car.

Great update BTW Nathan! Jaybird that's Awesome! I'm sure in practice it would have made me carsick, but a great idea all the same...

  11. Ugh. Now they'll probably blow up another Death Star. Using Red Matter. Not looking forward to Episode IX. http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/09/12/star-wars-episode-ix-to-be-directed-by-jj-abrams

My biggest complaint is that I feel like whereas Lucas originally focused on his characters, Star Wars is now about Star Wars. Just drop some people into the script and watch them do Star Warsy stuff.

  12. Really didn't need the unsolicited "senior discount" at El Pollo Loco last night. I know I'm old... but I'm not quite that old. Sheesh.

Wait, you were offered a discount and you didn't need it? Early perks, man! If you can scam the system for cash, milk it, baby!

Oh, I took the discount all right. But I didn't like the inference.
