Fall colors in Southern California... the orange of the brush fires... the brown of the smoke... the white of the ash falling...

Stay safe, I know what it is like to get rained on by ash. I still don't know how the hell they saved our town, EVERYTHING around it burned to the ground. Most insane experience ever, looking at the burn map, closing in. My entire town of 7000 people was completely surrounded by the fire. I guess enough super rich people live here and it is the home of Johnny Cash. LOL

Finally cancelled Netflix today after months of not watching anything on it. Felt good! Tempted to sign up for other streaming services so I can feel good about cancelling them, too.

Finally repaired my 2600. Again.

Getting better RF out of your 2600:

Going to make some popcorn and watch Tron on Blu-ray. Just as soon as my PlayStation finishes updating itself.

Great, now there are "Murder Hornets". I guess plain-old hornets just weren't murdery enough.

How many letters do you have to type before your browser auto-completes "atariage.com"? I just type "a".

Huh. Apparently there was a World Series.

I always knew being an unsocial introvert would pay off. I just had to bide my time...

I always thought the lyrics to "L.A. Woman" went "city at night". Turns out it's "city of night". Learn somethin' new every day...

I either need more shelves, or less junk.

(Condescending Lemony Snicket voice) The word junk used in this context refers to testicles.

I literally just figuratively built a city on rock 'n' roll.
Feel free to play the mamba, if you'd like.

I voted! It was nice to vote early, and I highly recommend it. However, I was disappointed that it didn't somehow make me exempt from still having to watch political ads on TV.

I want to go out and buy some classical music, but someone keeps Haydn my Chopin Liszt.

I was a little uncertain about dendrology at first, but now it's kind-of growing on me.

I was going to stop at the donut shop on the way home, but their sign only said "Ope". So I guess I'll try again later.

I wonder if Adobe ever tests their software before unleashing it on the public? Probably saves them a lot of time and money to have paying customers find all of their bugs for them. #IHateAdobeMustBeADayThatEndsInY

That article is a good start, although it only scratches the surface. Their support for enterprise and educational customers is absolutely abysmal. When they pushed out CC 2019 a year ago, the licensing broke for labs. They've since removed their document warning administrators, but it said, in part:
"What happens if I try to update lab environments to Creative Cloud 2019?
First, please do not attempt to upgrade lab environments to Creative Cloud 2019 at this time as, unfortunately, Creative Cloud 2019 is not currently available for labs. If you attempt to update shared environments (labs and classrooms) to Creative Cloud 2019, the apps installed on a machine will run in trial mode."
They posted this after CC 2019 shipped. It took months for the licensing issues to get sorted out.
Photoshop 2020 was a train-wreck of bugs and crashes when it shipped in the fall. We're still patching it.

I'd like to think it's just age, or exhaustion, or being really distracted. But somedays, I'm just stupid.

I'm thankful that Champ Games is making Gorf Arcade for the 2600!

Gorf Arcade? HELL YEAH!!!
@CPUWIZ Me neither! Even when I ate meat, I thought turkey sucked...A lump of dry flavorless tranquilizer so bad you had to add gravy before it was even lightly edible! No thanks.

I'm working remote, using my own computer's monitor to view a laptop computer that I'm using to remote into my desktop computer at work. I keep forgetting which computer I'm using.
