"Our pleasure! For dessert, perhaps you'd like a wiry strand of human hair with a cake wrapped around it?"

      Jinroh

      Well yeah. :D

We would throw bones in a pot with water and cook it when I was a kid for some bone soup.

So obviously bone bologna is the next logical step.

not bone, a little bit of a tower from Bologna, the land of "towers, tortellini, and tits"

It would be a major accomplishment for me to do that. So, yes. :)

  3. With McDonald's and Subway each opening over 2000 new locations each year, the day will come when every single building on Earth will be either a McDonald's or a Subway. Then the final war will begin.

Saw two Stormtroopers desperately trying to hear each other talk. Probably should've installed comlinks in those helmets.

  5. Wondering if someday there will be a website for people nostalgic for AtariAge called AtariAgeAge...

    1. GoldLeader

      GoldLeader

      Yeah the Age of AtariAge...

    2. Bryan

      Bryan

Not exactly. It'll be in the age of virtual reality so we'll have a virtual Albert.

    3. DaveD

      DaveD

Yeah. It'll look just like the existing site but it'll be littered with ads for denture cream, hearing aids, pharmaceuticals and stair climbers.

  6. Working like a crazy person. A crazy person that happens to have a lot of work to do. So I guess that all fits.

Embrace laziness. If you don't do it, somebody else will, and if they don't, it won't matter in a thousand years anyway.

  8. Would Santa Claus beat the Easter Bunny in a fight, or would the bunny take out a carrot and shank him?

That would be a fight to see.

  9. Wow, Apple's "on hold" music has sure gotten terrible. I'd rather listen to dead air or static.

    1. Bryan

      Bryan

Yeah, if only Apple knew of some place to find good music...

  10. Wow… I haven't posted an update since March since that I hate Adobe. Time to reset the clock. Adobe - I hate you.

What the hate? Is it because of their subscription service now?

    3. Emehr

      Emehr

I'm still defiantly using Production Premium 5.5. I thought online activation was bad (it is), subscription-only software is worse.

    4. Nathan Strum

      Nathan Strum

The hate is because I spent an entire day trying to track down a couple of annoying bugs in Premiere and After Effects. Never did figure out the Premiere problem, and the After Effects bug is a long-standing issue Adobe never bothered fixing so we have to work around it. Also, they broke Freehand import after Illustrator 5.1 so I have to keep two versions of that around, and yeah... not keen on the subscription thing either, despite a discount I get through work.

  11. Wow... MacNN's new layout is an unreadable mess. Had they never heard the old adage: If it ain't broke, don't fix it? Well, now it's broke.

    1. Albert

      Albert

Yep, that is a big mess. Not sure why sites feel the need to completely redo their layout, often with disastrous results.

  15. Yesterday, on the Fourth of July, I had French Toast for breakfast, and Tacos for dinner. Today, I'm having hot dogs and BBQ potato chips. I think I have my days backwards.

  16. Yet another "critical security flaw" in Flash Player?! When are they just going to give up on that thing once and for all?

By now, they must have issued more security updates for Flash than there are lines of code in the Flash code base. What the hell is so wrong with Flash that it needs so many "updates"?

    3. jaybird3rd

      jaybird3rd

There isn't a native Flash for FreeBSD (my OS of choice), and I'm glad. Not being able to look at a YouTube video on occasion is worth it to avoid all the hassles.

The are no security flaws in the player. The player IS the security flaw.
