  1. Great machines. I have 6 now, brilliant to use. 1x MTX500 2x MTX512 2x Series 2 256k versions 1x Video Wall controller version (MTX512 with extra stickers and a special interface/software) Also have the video wall complete set up. ...also have the the FDX twin Disk system and the SDX Disk system....both running full CP/M 2.2. 2. The best basic for me by a long way was Memotech MTX Basic. You could even add in lines of assembler on the fly. When I got my amiga A500, it felt like dropping back 10 years because Amiga Basic felt like it was just a "freebie" thrown in at the last second to give the user something to do on Boxing day if the TV was poor! Why could we not have a proper traditional BASIC, with the ability to drop lines of code in there for subroutines....like the Memotech? I still use the MTX basic now to do all sorts of stuff....mind you I do have 6 of them. I am now learning Python on the Raspberry Pi, to try and relearn the heady days of pioneer programming. 3. Hi Jay, I will test the cart out in the UK as soon as I can after it (and the 32k ram card) arrives...looking forward to it very much. Looks as if it is a very professional product Jay, well done for persevering...we believe in you! On a slightly different tack... Does anyone know of an assembler for the Aquarius? Is there some sort of assembler/ROM reference too? K6dude Well, they're very simple mini-games, because they had to fit into the Aquarius's ~1.7K of built-in program RAM. When I started this project, I wanted to include some cassette conversions, and these were the ideal choice for two reasons: everyone can use them because they don't require expanded RAM, and they originally came with the Aquarius as a free pack-in. I'm still considering a "second volume" of cassette-to-cartridge conversions, since there was a lot more third-party Aquarius software released on cassette, but we'll see how it goes.
  4. That looks so cool, thanks for all you efforts and labours Jay. It is going to be very much appreciated. Regards Mike (From England)
