Yes, I like the sensation, but only last the moment. But when you open a sealed game, the new status will be lost forever, and it will be one less in the world. But in the other hand, there's some titles who are plenty here in Venezuela, so could be safe to open, and there's others who are not coming back (I mean Mr. Basic and Scooby Doo for the Intv). Talking about mistakes, I boufth an open Activision title (Intv), Stampede. I try really hard to get it to work, and no success. So I open the cart with very delicacy for not damage the label, just to find out that the card was upside down, and was never used for that (the reason that was in mint condition) Tell me about mistakes you have seen. I think that the only Laminated boxes are from Imagic. What kind of alcohol you use? we only can get 2 tipes 60% Alcohol and 99% (Absolute), I guess i´ll go for the 99%, and what do tou use for applying? cotton balls? Thanks for your advice...

Hey, Does anyone open sealed games? I don´t like that, but I had to admit that I open 2, (Star Strike and Tron Deadly Discs), was satisfactory open those gamees and see the brand new content. But having forty-something sealed games is more satifactory even if you don´t have the games or even don´t have the boxes. For example, Ina month or so, will be arrive (I hope so) several sealed games for a trade I did, and some of those games and don't have even the loose cart (I remember at the moemnt Pinball, Popeye, Lady Bug, Nova Blast, and others). and i´m not planning to open any, i will wait until i get those games. But i've found people that thinks different, so let me know what you think. Cheers, Ed.

Hi, Everyone! I become almost an expert in getting to work Intv carts, I ahve cleaned and put back to life like 500 Intellivision carts (mine, my friends, and any who get truogh my hands) and I´m proud to say that only 1% is not functioning (I still don´t give up on them!) So, i dedicate dmy time on this, but I neglected the rest, the cart itself (the outside) and the box. Anyone has advices in how restore some of the old looks? Thanks.

Rarish, but that one doesn't look to be in too good shape. I'd pass, although the Tandy is my favourite INTV model. In fact, of the 15 or so INTV's I have, that's the one I'm currently playing on. The Sylvania/GTE one is rarer and I finally got one last week although I didn't get it cheap. Now to find the Bandai version to complete my hardware collection. It's been a few years since I last saw one of these. If the Electronics inside are the same, what differences do you see? I have the oportunity to buy a Sylvania a couple of months ago, but was very expensive, so I pass. Also the seller is keeping it. I never see a Bandai version, even in picture.

I don't get it: Beauty and the Beast: new/sealed for $8.95 from Atari2600.com Tron Maze-A-Tron: new/sealed for $10.95 from Atari2600.com That only took me about five minutes. I try to buy most of my stuff locally if possible. Thrifts, yard sales, and used game shops are my main sources. Shopping online usually costs more because I bought both Maze-A-Tron and B&B for only $2 a piece plus I didn't have to pay shipping. Yes, if money is no issue then I could basically fill out my entire collection from eBay. I don't want to go that route because a lot of it is overpriced. And keep in mind that the mayority of Ebay sellers are also looking in the same yard sales, so if you are not first... It needs a lot of patience collecting that way. I only had made 2 purchases on ebay, both sellers send me the games in bubblelopes and the boxes where crushed, So i resign on ebay for now, Triying to makes trades, You can find hardly any vintage games in garage sales in my country...

Don´t worry about the shipping costs, I always offer the following: I ship directly to tou in standard mail, and you ship to a courrier in Florida, so I pay 1 and half the shipping cost, you just had to offer some stuff that worth the expense, that's all. Let me know. I also have an Atari 800XE that needs a new ram chip (also new in box) that can let go for very little, you can find the needed chip very easy.

I agree with Rev on Super Pro Football whereas Slap Shot Hockey I find is much harder to come by. Another one that occurred to me is DK Jr. I've found this one to be a tough find as well, especially boxed. I made a trade (with an ebay seller) with my new items with others new Intv titles, and I will recieve 4 Donkey Kong Junior. for the seller that was a cheap title, in the category of Tennis and Snafu (the only ones i'll get duplicates). I guess he's got a lot of those titles. In Venezuela there's was a supply of Tron Maze a Tron new, but for the moment is depleted, or that's what they say when i ask for it. And I agree with Cmart, In my region there are titles very hard to find, others are common. I Have the Synthetyzer and no melody blaster, you would think that the people distributing Intv should sell both.

Yah, kinda weird about Turbo, I have two copies loose but just haven't had any luck with the CIB. Maybe there is a trade out there involving one of my Fathoms and a CIB Turbo. As for you, not sure about speed collector, but lets just call you efficient. Well, I need fathom, but I don´t have it even loose. I still have the New in Box Systhetizer, and some guy promess me New Intv controllers, For Sure it's for Intv II. I keep my non-working console and a few games since the 80´s (the most rarer games i have for the time is Diner and Dig Dug) But I really star collecting seriously 8 months a go with only 2 purchases on ebay, and I have 96 of the 125 games. But need a lot CIB..

I know what you mean, but i've very frequently the Atari titles for Intellivision and they sell not so expensive, but not cheap either. but at least show up. You do a search for several Intv titles and you get nothing on Ebay (even completed listings). I´m kind of a new collector, so i don´t have monitored Ebay for long. You have more experince.. Haven´t you thinking in giving some carts in adoption to a good collector that will love and will play with them constantly? I'm a charitable soul that is willing to take the burden!

Why the mail in Canada is so expensive and takes more time than usual? The seller from my country charge a lot less than Canada sellers and the distance is bigger. ANd lately Canada is the "Land of Intellivision" i've seen a lot of auctions and interesting stuff from there...

I think Ed is right, shipping is REALLY EXPENSIVE....you guys should stay away from this auction. I guess we can figure out who´s bidding on this..

Could be the magazines the reason that is so High price?, The box of the console looks real nice, but all the games are loose and common. and the shipping is very expensive too.

Hi, Looks that had died with "Especial effects", did you have any electrical problems at home or your country uses a especial power output? the power supply of the Intv is very simple, a transformer, and a smal board with 2 big Capacitors, and the rest. you could open the intv and look what of those components are "Smoked" (please remove the plug from the power outlet), and you could have an idea what happned. I've seen on ebay spare parts for the Intv, but could be cheaper to buy a new one (some auctions end at very low price, if they have common games). Cheers, Ed.
