  1. How much confidence can anybody have in being on the list, if the guys doesn't bother to respond back? Why should anybody give money to a guy who doesn't respond back? How can you trust the reliability of someone sending you something, let alone being on the list, if he/she is not reliable enough to reply back to the email? I doubt the guy has ever worked in customer service.
  2. His lack of communication is unexcusable, PERIOD! If he can't do a good job replying back, then he should let someone else do it. End of story. By the way, I did pay.
  3. I would like a black one, if still available.
  4. So you're saying that RAM space and management shouldn't be much of an issue?
  5. That sounds interesting. What about RAM when it comes to multitasking?
  6. Would like one, but maybe two depending on the price.
  7. I would like to see a new 8-bit version of Atari. Here's the cold hard truth people, machines don't last forever. There are only so many working Atari 8-bits left. Anybody who doesn't want to see the Atari 8-bit evolved deserves to be left behind with the aging machine themselves. Let me put it to you this way, do you want this scene to be flowing like a river or stagnant like a pond?
  8. Will there be a VBXE version? This will be a perfect game for it. I hope, not. We'd need rather more of such "enhanced" Games for original Hardware, than people bother with obsolete Hardware and even more obsolete Software. I totally disagree with you. We need more games that take advantage of enhance hardware.

  10. I was born the same year the VCS came out (77). My first Atari was the classic 800XL.
  11. What the heck is that? It was probable successor of the Falcon 030. Here it´s the link: http://www.atarimuseum.com/computers/16bits/falcon030/microbox/index.htm That lid looks suspiciously like the top of the Jaguar, without the "toilet bowl" Jaguar CD player on top . Was that suppose to be a metaphor of where the company was going at that moment?
  12. Well somebody left a comment on YouTube saying he was willing to make a case for it. Not me! I´m very excited about another project (7800XM) using an almost Atari design so I can dream about this... :lust: :lust: What the heck is that?
  13. Great, now all you need to do is get Alan Alda and that little girl to do a commercial for you! But then again, the little girl is pretty much a woman now, so just get another one.

  15. I don't know if any of you know, but there is a YouTube video of the new Firebee
  16. It would leave the Sam Flex to dust but will people buy it, since it will be 1500 pounds? I have a friend who is a bigger die-hard Amigan than I am and he scoffed at it. The Firebee is a bargain compared to the rest of the NG machines.
  17. I'd not worry about the numbers. The important thing is the company has a good warranty and the people who bought boards will get them. Just a little late perhaps. Perhaps. I just don't want it to turn out like the Pandora handheld, where people had to wait for over two years to get the thing.
  18. Pretty much CharlieChapman took most of what I was going to say, especially the stereo part. However, there is one standard he didn't mention that I would love to see and that is the use of more than one button on a joystick. The one-button joystick/controller worked back in the days, but now it's limited and archaic. I know it's possible to use more than one button on an Atari 8 bit with a Sega Genesis controller, since I read it in this forum. The one-button limitation sure don't work for shoot-em-up platform games. If Contra ever gets ported to the A8, I don't want to be forced to use Up on the D-pad/joystick to jump. I want it to be used, in conjunction with a fire button, to shoot up.
  19. Hey, I read that from the production, only 24 of the boards were good. Out of how many?
