  1. I would also try just connecting the IDE+ without the hdd mounted first. Then if that works, power down and mount the HDD, be sure both rows of pins line up when mounting the hdd...
  2. That's what I found out too, at first I thought I hosed the i/f. But after upgrading my 2nd i/f with no HDD attached, it completed without any problems

Got the clock working 1) I turned OFF APE Time Read in config then saved and rebooted. 2) I turned ON APE Time Read in config then saved and rebooted. 3) Copied Apetime.sys and Apetime.com from the Apetime.arc in the SDX Toolkit to D1: 4) Added to Autoexec.bat: APETIME TD ON Adding device apetime or device ideptime to config.sys just caused an error. Steps #1 and #2 may not be necessary, but that's what got me going... Jay EDIT: typos...

  11. Could be lucky and get 'em as low as $5 loose, or up to $50 boxed w/cable and Power Supply... I was lucky enough an got 2 for $10 "Untested" loose ones and all they needed was a good head cleaning...

  16. Keep your eyes open often I use one and have the other for backup... Not looking to sell... Even thou there are ones for $100 to $450, you'll find a few with a low starting bid every month
