  1. I did this 7 years ago with the Smirk 1050 Clone
  2. Main board is alive and well... Seems these don't like the CO21697-01 version of Antic and Sophia 2 hates them.
  3. Well, first boot didn't go as expected. Turns out I had 2 more micro bridges which took out the U1MB and the chips from GTIA to PIA But after fixing I swapped the GTIA, ANTIC, SALLY and the PIA along with a borrowed U1MB from my Good XLD and it boots to a blue screen, so that's better 😃 I have spare 64k memory chips and should have spares for the rest (3-4) chips... Didn't have the PIC chips plugged in yet. Just Ordered 2 U1MB's from LOTHAREK... OH! forgot to mention the DreamBlaster is still good and when the XLD is turned on, you hear that cool tune
  4. Had it pulled too and the spring also...
  5. Thanks Lenore I'm sure this will work pretty good. I like your additions to these, it's nice having a built-in Printer Port plus the SIO2WiFi AND supporting Cartridge access too. This is my 4th A8 that I built: 1450XL, 1088XEL, original 1088XLD and now your 1088XLD with the I/O ModSystem Thank YOU 😄
  6. All assembled Checked for shorts (fixed 2) checked the power rails and did a power up test. Now to pop in the rest and boot it up

  8. I'll check on that... I have a parts keyboard and will see if it's the same type.
  9. Finished stuffing the low profile parts on my 2nd 1088XLD Build Besides having a U1MB, UAV and DreamBlaster S2, This one will have @Dropcheck's I/O ModSystem Addition, plus a VBXE 👍👍👍 Next thing is to start soldering... How do you install a VBXE in one of these???
  10. Take a look at the HAYES Modem emylation in my code here: It has better "S" Register handling...
  11. AtaWiModem.rar I've decided to post the source code since it looks like FujiNet could use some help with better HAYES Modem emulation Enjoy, Jay

  14. Jon, Do you have a printable DIN-13 template you could share? Thanks, Jay
  15. Yep, I get the impression from David Murray "The 8-Bit Guy" that he feels disappointed that fujinet isn't as robust of a device than it is. Especially after donating a Commander X-16 and getting a toy in return...
  16. Thanks Kay @Savetz https://archive.org/details/ham800 😃 HAM.atr
  17. That would be Atari HamSoft v1.3... Your dump didn't work. Could you try again?
  18. Yep, that's what I meant. Have you tried running it with Administrator settings?
