The RM-1000 was designed for just those two modes. Will have to see what else I can get working with it... Maybe Amtor, Sitor ???

Finally got around to working on this about a month ago It decodes Morse Code and sends it as well. For starters, I am using parts of CodeWriter III for the CW Receive and the CW Send routine by Richard Watts' More Code Tutor. It's very efficiently written.... The RTTY routines are from Rusty Lewis' Split Screen RTTY program... I'll post a video of it in action soon...

There is a fix for this, you need to increase the VFS handles. I ran into this before on my program, found the answer but don't remember how I found out how...

What was your first experience in computer programmimg?
AtariGeezer replied to Larry's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
My first experiences with programming was in High School as a freshman, back in 1974 in the electronics classroom. We had a teletype terminal like this one that dialed into a DECsystem-10. That's where I got my first experience in BASIC. I was quite amazed how easily it was to write programs on that. We spent many hours playing lunar lander, drag race, hunt the wumpus, tic-tac-toe, chess and other games. Now that was a great training computer -

1450 XLD motherboard build, assorted questions
AtariGeezer replied to Vandal968's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Yes, the 800xl/130xe ROM does work on the 1450, that's what I am using. The V: / T: handler ROM does boot via the PBI interface. I think these are the file I used... On a side note: I booted mine up a few days ago after replacing the ESC key that had snapped off while moving some 1200xl's and my STacy around. Thanks to Bob Wooley (bob1200xl) who helped me with the spare parts for that OSR3V2-416.BIN VTHANB42D.BIN
