I expect some problems with this tool under WIN10 22H2 64bit.

No ATASCII characters in "View file" mode. (see attached pic.)

Menu View -> Output -> ATASCII marked. Atari specific fonts installed.

Under Win 7 32bit the same version (27f) is fine! I try the last available version - 30a - the same result - under W10 64 - no ATASCII, under W7 32 - all OK.

How to fix? Or I do something wrong?

    And this from Win7 32b:

What does it look like when you View as "Raw" ?

  2. Finally got around to working on this about a month ago :)

It decodes Morse Code and sends it as well.  For starters, I am using parts of CodeWriter III for the CW Receive and the CW Send routine by Richard Watts' More Code Tutor. It's very efficiently written....

The RTTY routines are from Rusty Lewis' Split Screen RTTY program...

I'll post a video of it in action soon...

Sophia 2 are now available for sale.  $150 plus shipping.  Sorry, for the price increase, but costs of components went up, so my costs went up, and, well, life in general increased in price, but they are available for sale and immediate shipment.

  4. My first experiences with programming was in High School as a freshman, back in 1974 in the electronics classroom. We had a teletype terminal like this one that dialed into a DECsystem-10. That's where I got my first experience in BASIC.  I was quite amazed how easily it was to write programs on that. We spent many hours playing lunar lander, drag race, hunt the wumpus, tic-tac-toe, chess and other games. Now that was a great training computer :)

All is good, now we can chill to the dulcet sounds of Baker Street.

Love that song, bought that LP when it first came out. Brings back memories of listening to this song cruz'n down broadway in the first car I bought in 1978, a 1967 Buick Skylark with a beefed up 440 and no mufflers, just side pipes :)

    Thank you :):):)

Good morning, greetings from Colombia. I hope you can help me, I need to convert an ATX image to ATR and when I load the image in ATR Tools, the "Convert ATX to ATR" option appears gray and disabled in the ATX menu. Is it possible to do this conversion or is it a function not implemented?  If possible, can you tell me how? Thanks

    That's still in progress...

    • the speech synthesis isn't working, I get an error 138 when I try to test this. I haven't really done much troubleshooting on this issue yet, as I'm not sure where to look first. I am running the 800XL OS ROM in this machine, that wouldn't cause this issue would it?  I had assumed that the handlers for V: are being done through the PBI interface.  (V: handler does appear to be present when I run SI on this machine.)

He's using an 800XL OS - will that work with this OS?

Yes, the 800xl/130xe ROM does work on the 1450, that's what I am using.

The V: / T: handler ROM does boot via the PBI interface.

I think these are the file I used...

On a side note: I booted mine up a few days ago after replacing the ESC key that had snapped off while moving some 1200xl's and my STacy around.  Thanks to Bob Wooley (bob1200xl) who helped me with the spare parts for that :thumbsup::thumbsup:
