  1. With the Super Nt now out, I guess they can remove the SFC module, nothing of their "hybrid tech" will surpass the Super Nt. While we are at it, they can get rid of the NES module as well, since their tech will not surpass the RetroUSB AVS. (Choosing the low price point FPGAs) 2 modules down, I just saved them money. If they were smart, they would focus on Genesis and TG16, because lots of folks want a "Super Nt" version of the Genesis.
  2. 5200 Pitfall 2 needs to be included. It has the POKEY music and extra stage unlike the 2600 version.
  3. Holy Diver and R-Type Collection up for pre-order: https://castlemaniagames.com/shop?olsPage=products
  4. Whoa, I'm more interested in their multi-carts, looks awesome. https://www.amazon.com/Retro-Bit-Collection-Cartridge-nintendo-entertainment-system/dp/B0777PY33X/ref=pd_sim_63_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CF8917K5TWAB83GXZRPH https://www.amazon.com/Retro-Bit-Jaleco-Brawlers-Pack-Cartridge-nintendo/dp/B0773V8VJ8/ref=pd_sim_63_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PC4QFVQAAXDWV0PTQBFN
  5. Bill, will you be updating this thread with the auction link details once it becomes available? It seems some stuff will be put online? Quote: "Bodnar’s Auction has agreed to put my 100 best items up (although, honestly, that’s going to be hard for me to figure out) for auction online as well as at physical auction. Everything else will be strictly physical auction. The timetable right now looks like the auction will take place some time in March or April 2018, and may be part of their grand opening event at what they expect to be a new permanent location (still in New Jersey)."
  6. I just saw the video myself. Shouldn't the solution be focused on "not frying" any system? Even if the cables get pulled? What kind of design is that? I'm also reading this dude was warned about this prior. The solution described in the video doesn't sound like a proper solution to me, just a hold over.
  7. Thanks! I ordered 1 as well. I was a bit hesitant by the looks/ergonomics. I found this complete review:
  8. I just noticed they now have a wireless controller available. Did anyone get it? Any reviews? http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=36&products_id=154
  9. So I just watched John's video (nice job!) and it seems Pitfall is glitched. I see 2 Harrys overlayed on each other. Is this youtube or in fact a glitch? Attached 2 screen captures. https://youtu.be/ZgY0WtTg4jw?t=10m40s
  10. It definitely has some heft to it, useful for those who need the extra buttons/mapping. As someone who collects the controllers, I still prefer the Forza one simply because of the grip and don't need the extra buttons. Thankfully that grip is being used in the newest controller. https://twitter.com/shieldsjames/status/845420954167619584
  11. Big fan of Dreamcast, it introduced me to the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, which I love. I got hyped when Genki teased a new game recently, .........turned out to be a mobile game. D'oh! ("-__-) http://www.sb-x.jp/
  12. Payment sent, thanks CPU/tep392! As for Choplifter, is it possible to swap the game out if it has issues? Whatever the case, I'd still be in for a re-run of the first one. Did anyone make boxes for these?
  13. Darn, am I too late? Otherwise, please add me to the list.
  14. Haha, someone watched LGR's latest episode. He's my new favorite channel for this year.
  15. In my opinion, getting kinda tired of all these "ultimate" retro consoles, the AVS NES was the only 1 to live up to its expectations so far and it has Famicom/FDS support. After watching G81's video. 1 thought came to my mind. Why must the makers of this box go the crowdfunding way? These are "industry professionals" from big names right? Top dawgs? These guys made 6 figure incomes (no way they made pennies working for big names), they can't make it on their own money? RetroUSB made the AVS all on his own, produced videos along the way and then sold it. (this is the proper way IMO) You're telling me these "pros" have LESS money to invest than retroUSB had? Come on.
  16. Reggie on why they didn't bundle any games. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/why-switch-doesnt-include-any-bundled-games/1100-6446940/
  17. Digital Foundry is finding Zelda docked is running 900P/30. Looks like Nintendo fans better get used to Digital Foundry like PS4/X1 users already have. -720p and locked 30fps in handheld mode -900p and 30fps when docked -Texture filtering is poor -Frame-rate drops typically seem to happen when there's depth of field on screen -Lowest recorded frame-rate is 20fps.
  18. I wanted to know if VC purchases will carry over or not, nothing on that. But hey, with paid online, you get a "free" NES/SNES (with online play) game.....for one month. The cases with the red spine are Boss though. Oh yea, too many finger snaps.
  19. Wow, I didn't even know this existed but on the Japanese PSN store it does. Of course, I just had to get it (already had a JPN account), recorded a game. I play as the special Jaleco All-Stars team, I didn't recognize any of the characters except the City Connection car. haha What other Japanese PSN exclusives like this are available? This is awesome!
  20. Wow amazing collection! I found this site, must be new, not sure how accurate or legit it is. http://gamevaluenow.com/atari-5200
