Does anyone have any specs for the lopt/flyback? I got part numbers but a google search shows up nothing.

Hey all A while back I bought a vectrex in working order. The pic was a bit dim and out of whack, but it was playable. I got the bright idea to run a capkit through it to brighten things up, and now when I fire it up the LOPT is literally smoking Anyone know where I can source a new LOPT, or any ideas what would be causing it? Im running on the assumption that recapping has restored voltages back to levels the old LOPT cant handle.......... Or, is there anyone who can fix this for me in exchange for cash? Im in Western Australia. thanks and regards.

Hi all Dusted off an old woody 6 switcher and plugged it in - seems the RF modulator works, but the picture is so poor it is unplayable. I mean, its bad.... seriously bad..... you can barely see poor Mario when playing DK. Sooooo much noise. Im assuming the RF modulator is shot? Any tips for getting it working again? I have a soldering iron and Im not afraid to use it. Should I start with reflowing everything, or should I just start swapping out potentially dry caps etc from the get-go? Any common problems with these modulators? Im looking for a PAL s/video mod for it, but until then Id like to play a few games thanks

Hey Parker I sent you an email regarding the 2600 mod and PAL, but i just came across my 7800 in the garage so Ill be chasing a 7800 mod as well Have you got a PAL 2600? Do you want a loaner?..... Im happy to cover post both ways and cover the mod also if you can leave it in it
