Its what happens when demand is threw the roof and nobody is giving out the supply with the few exceptions of people putting them up on Ebay. Plus the longer Eduardo is gone the more it will drive up the price. It's crazy though because when he comes back (hopefully) then the price will drop all the way back down to normal! Unless he doesn't come back where those SGM's that are out there may be one of the most sought after Coleco items ever made. My money is on that he will return.

You have Tournament Tennis brand new! Well I guess that would be 3 new copies that I know of so far. I would love to see some pics of your collection!

I would try and keep everything as original as possible, I first started to collect everything for the Colecovision NIB but I quickly figured out that it is impossible as there really isn't very many NIB Colecovision games out there anymore. Just a few common ones like River Raid, Pitfall, Zaxxon and so on. (I have Sammy Lightfoot, Tournament Tennis, Threshold, and a few other rare NIB but I really don't know how many of those are out there. I just know of one other Tournament Tennis NIB.) So I changed my focus to CIB and even that is very hard to do and I'm having to make sacrifices to cart only like the double enders as those boxes are near impossible to find. That all said if you have a NIB of any Colecovision game I wouldn't open it, as it is much more rare than a CIB ver no matter how common the game is, if your dying to play it you can always find a used copy of the game much easier than a new copy. That's just my opinion. I really like new museum quality pieces in my collection. I was a kid when I had a Colecovision and I remember when my Grandpa would bring me home a new Colecovision game so I just get a kick out of seeing the game as he did when it was on the store shelf 30+ years ago.

Ya I agree with you I don't think most of the case go with the games, they where most likely added at a later time, which also makes most of the labels not original either. There is just 2 of those carts that peek my interest . Interesting auction though thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Its crazy to think a 30 year game could be a 90+ My Tournament Tennis is in amazing condition also and I'm dying to find out what grade it will get, but its really hard to predict a 90 or higher grade. I pretty sure it will get a gold rating(85+ or higher) at least

I just noticed in the picture that the protective plastic had a nick in it so I changed the plastic and it looks better.

Your best bet if you never have plans to open it would be to send it into VGA and have it graded, they will make a beautiful acrylic case for it, although it isn't cheap(VGA also makes cases that can be opened also if you don't want it graded). If you plan to open it you can talk to Toby from Collectorvision(here on AA) and he can make a custom acrylic case for it that can still be opened (if he has time to make it). He can make anything in acrylic and does a amazing job, again it won't be cheap but when you have a super high value game like that its really worth having a good acrylic case because they look very nice in display and they the case keeps your game in mint condition. Here's a picture of a couple of graded games I have, I also plan to have Tournament Tennis graded and Sammy Lightfoot graded in the near future when I get my tax return.

I really like the idea of pictures/cards of each of the Homebrew Makers!! JF would need a little bit of photo shop and have all of the Collectorvision games shooting out of his hands like a web from Spiderman! Or better yet have Toby and JF having a stand off like a couple of cowboys shooting Collectorvision carts at each other You could also have one of Daniel playing a Colecovision "guitar like" and have games coming out of it that look like music notes It would be cool to have fun with those, if anyone else has a idea for a Homebrew scene card feel free to throw idea's out there and see what sticks

I would also like to see Splicevision and Taiwan Cooper cards. I think those boxes look really cool.

I'd buy your cards sounds like a great idea non numbers I think are the way to go since there is still rare boxes that are out there that have never been found like Venture Colecovision/Adam box. Without numbers will make it much easier to add it if a box is found sometime in the future. It might be a good idea to make a list of all the cards you can make from your collection then anything your missing other CIB collectors can help out to fill in any holes. I would be willing to help with any missing ones that you don't have.

I'm really sorry to hear this Daniel, as someone who has gone through this myself (losing my father at 52) I know how unbelievably hard this time is for you. Ya just looking at there history with the Vectrex app it makes me even question if (big IF) they did hit there stretch goal, would they stay true to the promise of bringing it to Android when they never brought a competed Vectrex app to Android.

I haft to say I would buy your app, but I do have some fears, as I don't own and don't ever plan to own anything apple so if you don't reach you stretch goal, I won't be able to ever use this app.(I can't pay for something I can't use of course) If there was even just a PC or Android ver. I would be happy to jump on board especially if you add homebrew games to your list, but right now all I can do is hope and wish you guys good luck (I'm in for a $1) . Also I was wanting to ask did you ever release a PC or Android ver. of your Vectrex app? I would love to get that also as long as its on something I can play.

Well you wouldn't haft to include games, people could just load roms onto the SD card. Maybe include one default game (a original homebrew to avoid any licensing problems) with the system. People could load the roms on there own free will

Last year I got each of my kids a handheld that takes a SD card and has every sega genesis game on it plus you can hook it up to a tv or play it on the go! I paid $40 for it (I can show a picture of the system if someone wants) They really loved it, this year I plan to get the same thing but it has every Nintendo game on it (cost about $20). I would love to have a handheld with a SD card that had every colecovision game on it where you can play it on the go or hook it up to a TV! Anyone want to help me start a kickstarter!
