Are orders still being accepted? I would like to buy one.
  5. Is it too late to get one of these? I just learned about it today.
  6. Thank you everyone for your support! - Joe Grisaffi
  7. Hi everyone, I launched the Kickstarter campaign for the first run of Conjoined, the Atari 2600 game based on the film I directed. Take a look at the campaign if you wish: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/575397277/conjoined-the-atari-2600-game-inspired-by-the-movi The game is programmed by Jason Santuci. Thank you! Joe Grisaffi
  8. I'd like to buy one if one if available or someone backs out. Thanks. Joe
  9. Put me down for a VIP release as well, please. Lowest number available.
  10. Thanks. I will review your designs on your website.
  11. Great. How/where does one order your boxes?
  12. Just learned about this. Is Vector Pilot still available?
  13. Crazy Climber, I understand that now. TheLoon was very good about explaining the process and limitations to me.
  14. I am just seeing this thread. I just purchased War of the Worlds, Sundance and Zantis from George at Fury Unlimited. They will not disappoint the Vectrex fan. Really good stuff. I am looking for a VecFlash, BTW. I know they are incredibly hard to find, but does anyone know where one might be available? Thanks Joe Houston TX
  15. I love my Vectrex. Scramble is probably my favorite game on the system. I just purchased the homebrews Sundance and War of the Worlds. Spare controllers cost about $40-60. A multicart is a good choice. You can try all of the games then go after the individual ones you enjoy.
  16. I am just discovering this flash cart. I haven't read through every post, so forgive me if this has already been answered, but does this work with the Atari 800, or just XL/XE? I assume the SDHC card would prevent the 800's lid from closing, but just thought I'd ask.
  17. I'd like to design my own box. Is the template still available? The link at the top of the thread doesn't work for me. Thanks!
  18. Yllawwally - We're not sure how many cartridges we will produce. I am looking into that next. I know I can have some made through AtariAge's store. I am also looking for an Atari box template with die lines for Photoshop to design the box, then Ii will look into printing costs for that. Joe
  19. Hi Cybearg Thank you very much for the in-depth insight. It is much appreciated. I opted for the 2600 because it was the main system I grew up with and it seemed like the least complicated platform on which to create a game, even if it is very simple. The movie does take place in present day, in the city. In fact *spolier alert* his "castle" is a castle on a miniature golf course . If the process of creating this game goes well, and all signs point in that direction, I will definitely consider one for the NES. Right now, we have pretty much decided on a mainly Adventure-style game in which the knight must search the "neighborhood" (a 3x3 or 5x5 grid of "rooms"), first to find his weapon and armor, then find the individual victims and kill them. A police officer roams the neighborhood, but doesn't follow the knight until he is armed (opposite of the dragon in Adventure.) Joe
