I'd be more impressed if they released it on disc. I'll also be more impressed if it is true 1080p and not that BlazBlue 720p pixelated crap.
-
And they will be in my pack when I get around to updating it.

I can't believe I forgot about this, but I just remembered I have all sorts of PS3 and PSP technical information. Official Sony internal stuff. It got leaked about a year ago, I think. Board layouts, schematics, repair guides, the works. It never really got any press. Maybe you're on to something after all.

I've been playing this off and on for the past couple weeks. It's really fun

Charging for hidden stuff in Mortal Kombat is just so wrong. It's so not MK.

Thanks for the info, Xenepp. One quick question, what speed EPROMs did you use? Does it matter for the Jaguar? I've seen 100ns, 90ns, 50ns, and I can't find out if it matters for the Jaguar.

It has been nearly a year since the 360 Slim came out. I haven't heard of any major issues. Am I right, or am I living under a rock?

Where's the movie with The Rock?

Sure. Never pee on your NES, and remember to heed these words of wisdom the next time you think about it. Thanks, bro.

And for my final new doll for a while, I'd like to introduce my new brown-hair Cowgirl Momoko doll. Her name is Tex. She's a bit of a tomboy, and she's a raucous cowgirl! She meets my older blond Cowgirl Momoko doll, Sammy, in this little photo story. Tex struts on to the scene as if she owns the place. Sammy: "Hey, pard-ner! May I have this dance?" Tex: "Sure! I was just about to ask you the same thing." Tex: "I'm not swinging you around too fast, am I?" Sammy: "Not at all! Is that all you've got, cowgirl?" Tex: "Whoa! You're good!" Tex: "You're not going to out-dance me! I still have a few tricks... oh no!" Sammy: "Yeeeeee-haaa-dangit!" Tex: "Oh no! are you hurt?" Sammy: "Just my pride." I forget who said it, but somebody asked me "Do you really need two cowgirls?" The answer is YES!!! I had so much fun with this photo shoot. I actually looked up some square dancing on Youtube to make sure I got the motions right. It was nice to do something different. Both girls are loosely named after As has become the trend with my doll naming lately, these girls aren't anything like their namesake ^_^'

I remember this one race I had against this one Japanese gamer. I don't know what they put in the water over there, but it was scary how good he was. It took every bit of concentration I had in me to beat him. The DC port of Daytona had horrible online multiplayer, though. There would usually be at least one player who would get disconnected.

Without speculating it's hard to say I guess. You just posted survey results that kind of contradicts the statement proceeding them though. 1 in 5 is minuscule? Even if only 1 in 50 actually did actually trade in their PS3 because of all the going on, I personally wouldn't consider that minuscule. There are millions of PS3 owners! Someone like myself would never consider it. The majority of the fun I get out of my PS3 is offline anyways. I have my 360 for online. Lots of people on AA own multiple video game consoles. I personally own all three of the latest. Some people don't have that luxury. They can afford one system, and if they buy a $60 game for that system, go online and find it's full of cheaters, or worse they find they can't get online at all, for weeks, stolen information aside, that's enough to make a person trade in their one system in for another wouldn't you agree? I'm thinking there are probably plenty of other kids exactly like your son and his friends. I already got rid of a bunch of my PS3 games and installed CFW on my PS3. I felt it was time to take back rights to my hardware and do something about Sony's anti-consumer conduct. I have no plans on getting any new Sony product any time soon except for extra PS2 consoles and necessary accessories like controllers and memory cards. I've been considering getting a couple PS2 slims for when my PS2 fat and 60GB PS3 die. I'll have no qualms about getting used PS2 and PS1 games, though.

Oh, I get it now. He put "I'll be back" in the description.

Biker Mice From Mars (seriously)

Remind me to never pee on my NES.

I don't get it.

Madalaine saw a new girl in the neighborhood as she was walking home from school today. Madalaine: "Excuse me! Hello! I haven't seen you around here before." Shiori: "La-la-la-la... oh, hi!" Madalaine: "Hello! My name is Madalaine. What's yours? Are you new here?" Shiori: "Nice to meet you, Madalaine. My name is Shiori. I just moved here a few days ago." Shiori: "Oh dear, I have lost a contact. Can you help me please?" Madalaine: "Certainly. I just hope I don't step on it." Shiori: "Thanks a lot! Oh, here it is!" Madalaine: "Get over here, you cutie-pie!" Shiori: "Oh! My, you're affectionate." Madalaine: "That's just because you're so adorable, Shiori." Shiori: "Ha! Ha! You're nice, too. I'm so glad to have met a girl like you. I hope we can become best friends." This post isn't just an introduction for Shiori. It's also an introduction for Madalaine wearing the To Heart 2 schoolgirl uniform. She looks positively darling in it, don't you think? Anna's wonderful red stockings complete the ensemble. But to get back on the topic of Shiori, she's a Red Shoes Momoko doll. Her shoes are actually a bit large for her, in my opinion. Her whole outfit is just really cute, though. I have decided not to use her hat. I really like that hairdo of hers. Shiori is named after a character in the Battle Royale 2 movie, of all people. Shiori Kitano. Unlike Shiori Kitano, though, my Shiori is not going to be holding grudges and fighting in a war. She's a sweet girl who loves her new friend Madalaine

Best Electronics 7800 - Pokey with XM Expansion Module
Chuplayer replied to thursday83's topic in Atari 7800
I am going to guess you bought one of the Best Electronics reconditioned systems with 90 day warranty. Sounds like the system came with a defect from Best Electronics. Now Best is a small shop so I don't expect 1-5 day turn around but within 2-4 weeks at the most it should come back. The repair he is suggesting you do yourself shouldn't take months even if they are backed up since as it sounds it's a simple re soldering job. What I (and I stress the I) would do is Email Best back saying - " Thank you for the response, I wish I could easily solder it as suggested but honestly I don't feel comfortable doing solder work and would hate to make anything worse with the system then it already is. I understand you are backed up but I really would like this professionally repaired under the Best 90 day Warranty. I could live without it for a few weeks from the day I shipped, would that be enough time for you to fix it and ship it back to me? If the system can not be turned around in a few weeks can I just send it back and you send me out a working replacement that is ready to for an exchange?" The above statement from my perspective is very fair to both parties (though paying shipping back isn't fun). It was ordered on 9/21. That's more than 90 days ago. I'd be interested to see what sort of documentation he sends thursday83. I thought he said he ordered the 7800 Expnasion Module on 9/21 and just got the 7800 system very recently. If the system is out of warranty I bet there are some good citizens of this forum who might possibly be able to help him out. Duh, you're right. -
Are you happy with the PS3 situation(s)?

With the recent PSN break-in, I'm livid. I don't want to buy anything Sony ever again. -

The Game Genie workaround worked for me for quite a few years, but after enough time the connector becomes less forgiving with the Game Genie. That's the main reason why I got a new 72-pin connector to begin with.

As annoying as a giant all capitol letters "FUCK SONY" is, that picture you keep posting is way worse. This is how I get every time you post it.... That's the whole point. So, you keep posting the picture over and over again to irritate the people here? Well. Way to go. Mission accomplished. No, to illustrate my anger. If I had a table to flip, I'd flip it. I have already cleared my PS3's hard drive and investigated the last PSN games I downloaded. The last ones I got were MvC2 and SSF2THDR well over a year ago during the first big Capcom sale, so my card information should be safe. It expired months ago, and I probably deleted it from the PSN service, too. Next thing is to get all the PS3 games that aren't MGS4 or Time Crisis (I forgot I have a soft spot for Time Crisis) out of my house. Yes, I will be "trading" them in to GameStop. Yes, I will get ripped off. No, I don't care. I just want to get them the hell out of my house in the quickest way possible. Sony has pissed me off for the last time. I didn't not eat lunch for months during college in order to afford a 60GB PS3 just so Sony could pussy-foot around with my data by storing it in an un-encrypted format ripe for the stealing. This is abhorrent.

I did some video gaming with Sony, and all it netted me was my information being sold on the black market. Way to go, Sony. Way to go.

That would be useful. I discovered by taking apart and dumping another cart with two roms that they are 27C160 equivilents and need to be byteswapped and be split word-wise (no idea what you'd need to do for four rom carts). My only problem now is I think it either needs the header stripping (JiFFI doesn't see one) or needs to start at a different address thanks to the encryption since when I burned new roms it red screens on the Jag. It waits a moment before red screening though so that's more than it did before. It'd be good to see this run after having this sat about for over a year. I'm open to suggestions! Somebody in one of the links I posted said to strip the first 8kB off of the ROM or pad it with 8kB of zeroes. Jiffi has a headerless ROM option, and it produces a .rom that is 8kB shy of 4MB. So, I don't know. Hex editor? Overwrite to 1FFF with zeroes? I don't really understand what headers have to do with physical Jaguar carts.

For the third time... I'm not posting that picture to be cute or funny either. I am enraged. I'm trying to cut back on my usage of the F-bomb, but seriously... FUCK SONY. I knew it back in the 90s with the PS1, and I should have known it now. I will be loading my PS3 with CFW this weekend, and I'll not be looking back. I'll probably be picking up a few PS2 slims while I can still get them, and I don't know what I'm going to do with not having a PS3 when my current one dies. I need one around to play MGS4, but that's it. My PSP has been CFW'd, and I can hopefully fix it if it breaks, and the UMD drive can go suck an egg. I'm done buying Sony products new. Used PS1 and PS2 games are okay, but that's it. I don't even want to play another PS3 game besides MGS4. I'm counting down the days until my big-ass Sony TV bites the dust so I can buy anything buy a Sony TV to replace it and get it the hell out of my house. And I know Sony says the credit card data is encrypted, but whatever. We all know how good their encryption is, and even if the CC data really hasn't been decrypted, I'm pissed off enough at them for the unencrypted user data that having the CC thing put me over the edge only makes it easier to do something that I should have done already, and that is to not buy anything Sony ever again.
