  1. Yes lots of inconsistencies. They have a working crt they could of at least buaght a used copy of missile command off ebay. And it's the 2600 version despite having a 5200 logo. And also the 5200 logo from 1982 stays there for ever. The logo on a real 5200 would of booted up in 5 seconds. And it looks like at the end he is inserting something.
  2. Cw's latest offering son of a critch. https://www.cwtv.com/shows/son-of-a-critch/cucumber-slumber/?play=4d1b1e3e-0f2d-4c00-a137-5700fa2d65a2 This episode shows two kids playing a 2600. Except I don't remember any white controllers bits. Almost looks like maybe a commodore controller. I thought they weren't compatible. The whole thing is 20 minutes and 54 seconds long. Fast forward to 16 minutes. After the third dot. The last commercial. The last leg of the show. Shortly after 16 minutes you will see a big woody crt tv and a 2600.
  3. Also here is the list of games. Not sure if this is correct. Only 7 5200 titles show. https://armchairarcade.com/perspectives/2023/09/19/game-list-for-my-arcade-atari-gamestation-pro/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=game-list-for-my-arcade-atari-gamestation-pro
  4. I suppose. Anyhow as for the 5200 maybe they can do some sort of virtual keypad for those 10 games.
  5. But the charm is it didn't look crisp 40+ years ago. So 4k does not recreate the childhood experience.
  6. Maybe he did. But that is still unofficial. Their site does not list that feature. So they will be no help if you need it or if you brick the console trying to load games from the micro sd card.
  7. Plus only 10 5200 games are on this so the real 5200 is still needed. And the SD slot is not verified to run games and is only for save states currently.
  8. Also how can you play 5200 titles with this thing? There controllers have no keypad. So its not the same.
  9. The pro versionhas a micro sd slot for saves apparently. Maybe it can be hacked to run the games. https://www.gamespress.com/My-Arcade-releases-the-Atari-Gamestation-Pro-with-200-games
  10. I just found this video. I never knew the original tetris had an ending.
  11. I googled why did atari buy atariage. This is what popped up. “By bringing AtariAge into the Atari family, we can ensure this important resource gets the support it needs to continue to fulfill its mission for years to come.”5 days ago https://atari.com/blogs/newsroom/atari-acquires-atariage-uniting-with-its-retro-focused-online-community#:~:text=“By bringing AtariAge into the, mission for years to come.”
  12. I just found the Wikipedia page. It says founded 1998. That is wrong. It was 2001 was it not? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AtariAge
  13. If thefamiclones use real cartridges then maybe a reverse 72 to 60 pin adapter exists?
  14. Nice. I played this in highschool. My math teacher introduced us to this game. But I forget how to play it.
  15. Genesis controllers work. Originals not 3rd party. Bht not sure about 2 button support.
  16. Was thinking the same thing. But unless they shut us down or change the rules heavily it's probably still going to be the same atariage it's always been.
  17. Yeah, but those all look like homebrews. I see no familiar titles in there.
  18. It's normal again now. Yesterday firefox on my phone was the only option. But now it's good on my tablet also as I write this.
