This is one of my very favorite games on the 5200 , I had the best intentions of going after this elusive record, and for a second time it's just not to be .

 

I have to get back into to gaming form, this jumpin' in here or there is for the birds.

Wow, this is pretty cool stuff.. Gradius= R-Type ?

 

I'm really loving this Super Module and the games, I gotta scratch this itch as it's been pretty dry in 5200 land !

What is the lead time on getting a super module and any of the above games?

I'd like to see a faithful port of Space Fury , Colecovision touted theirs as being like the arcade which is an exaggeration at best, the alien doesn't even talk and game play falls short !

 

 

Bump and Jump for sure as Coleco missed on that one too. 2600 blows it out of the water.

 

I'll think of a few more I am sure and will post.

have to believe the switch is good as there is a change in the scree when turned on. I will check the unit , but I tried 3 games and my multi cart all with the same result. Tried a different RF cable as well.

My tv has an icon that pops up saying no signal..

My Colecovision has been giving me fits of late. Worked great last time I used it. Turned it on after 3 weeks and now I have a white screen.

 

The screen goes from snow to a white when I turn it on, so I know this is not power related, I also tried a different RF cable.

 

Wondering if there is anybody that sells NOS motherboards like Best does with Atari stuff?

I would be game for it, but also, how about an improved/completed version of Asteroids using the prototype much like they finished Tempest and turned it into the beauty it is. Perhaps also finish Stargate so I can TRULY enjoy the entire Defender Trilogy (Defender, Stargate and Robotron: 2084) as a series. BTW, how about a port for RealSports Hockey (they already have baseball, football, basketball and soccer (the REAL football not that American garbage, as I am an Arsenal fan, COYG!!!) and also one of Space Duel and also Quantum, Liberator, Major Havoc, Marble Madness, and Food Fight

As I was in H.S. at the time,and not a gamer like my younger sibling, I do remember kids taking their systems from house to house, all be not common place.

Just about everyone had a 2600, but 5200, C64 and some of the other systems not so much.

 

If you don't have an original box today the case is the next best thing... I wish I had another and boxed at that.

I am not a huge fan of the Colecovision joystick, wondering if anyone has attempted a pass through mod on a Competition Pro 5200 joystick ?
