  1. I agree this is frustrating.....case in point: Yesterday a new guy comes on (some of you probally saw this) saying he has a "save the games" store and wants to get a big purchase lot he made into the hands of "true" collectors so he choose this forum. Posts some nice boxed and rarer atari 2600 games and says offer away.....I say I am interested in "X" games and figure based on completed ebay prices I could offer about 10% less because I really wanted these games....after all this work I get a message today basically pointing to his EBAY link and a message saying thanks but since I had so much interest they are this much now on ebay......WHY do this....basically these people are lazy and if they want to have us price their stuff they should pay us all appraiser fees.... I'll offer on rare merchandise but think I'm about done on make an offer unless I really would like it
  2. Had three experiences now this week when people who are new put up for sale threads (make offer) and then promptly replied back after intrest that they were going the EBAY route.......maybe we should all start to collect fee's as appraisers...ugghhhh

yeah I mean when I do it nowadays I try to start vwith a price then depending on what the item is, being talked down to a lower price is ok. As long as it wasn't something that took extreme effort and overpayment to find

Dang, I'm doing the opposite. Most of my stuff has been up online for a while and not selling so I have come here and have made lots of deals in the past few months. Thanks AtariAge for giving people another outlet to buy/trade their stuff!

  3. Richard....I'll take a cart if you make a new batch as well next month! Thanks!
  4. Good deal but yea I agree No Paypal cuts me out .... should be a good deal though!
  5. It's also funny how rarity vs price is so skewed.....some carts are actually very rare and hold little value while others that are actually pretty common have much higher value.....
  6. My comment wasn't meant to be insulting or rude...just a way to help to possibly make a sale It's not off base to say that "most" of these games in lots on EBAY and Flea Markets are basically 1-3 dollars each.....if he sent those in a list to Lukie's or a big dealer he would likely get an offer of 30.00...which is why 60-90 is likely the MAX...he could throw Panic Restaurant, Fire N Ice and Snow Brothers in there and that may make it closer to the asking price
  7. Not to crap on the thread but its coming anyway and I'll be the nicest I am sure but as a collector of these for the last 15 years you only have one cart in that lot Mario Brothers that's worth more than 2-3 MAX.....again hey best offer is cool but I have seen a lot of 70 of these common carts go religiously for under 80 bucks TOTAL.....but then again its your call....if you want them to move I would suggest 60 - 90 MAX and that is probally to high...just trying to help!
  8. Looking for a set of PS1 kids games to let the kids use. Most be CIB and not scratched up and work. I know the value of these (basically not much so not looking to get scalped on these...to not raise expectations I was thinking 1-1.50 per game unless they are better games and would pay fair value....thanks!
  9. Good to hear! Guess I can place a small order with confidence from them today them ..haha
  10. PM sent for the ps1/ps2 spindle and some of the retro games
  11. What's a good buying price for a CIB decent shape atari 7800 game

Depends on what it is. I got Dig Dug sealed, I believe, for $8. Of course for $8, I had no problem opening it and playing it.

  12. Bump on up! Got a few good offers......anymore people with old MASK, G1 Transformers, GIJOE, Heman, Thundercats, Sectaurs, Garbage Pail Kids, Inhumanoids, Laser Discs...etc????
  13. Haha..awesome topic...just picked up a pretty nice unit with the controller intact and in good shape last weekend......saw a post on another forum and contacted the seller....here he was about 5 minutes from me so no shipping....what's the odds. It had 7 games (loose) but all with overlays.......paid 100.00.....feeling good about that deal
  14. I left a message for Rudy as well......he has always been helpful in the past.....sometimes it takes a day or two for them to get approval from Sara........just trying to help out as I too spend money at Lukie because of there primary good service in the past....hopefully they aren't getting "too big to fail" mentality though I know they make a large portion of their business now from overseas sales....hmmmmm
  15. ***EDITED THIS SLIGHTLY AS IT WAS A BIT ALL OVER THE PLACE AND I HAD A FEW OFFERS SO WANTED TO CLEAN IT UP A BIT...THANKS*** So here's the story on this one: Not sure I want to do this for certain but will entertain some offers if the deal is good. What I have is basically a brand new...turned o console with the box / accessories etc. Works great and no issues...cosmetically perfect. I also have a controller / large PS3 Remote that I will include with this deal. The PS3 is the large (fatty) sized and 40GB....EDIT I was told that this is NOT and also that this IS (I am not sure) the backward comp model that can play the ps2 but I believe it plays PS1 disks for sure (I can test it out). I was collecting consoles sealed in box and basically decided a year ago it was silly and took up too much space so I opened some of them and sold the rest. The PS3 was still sealed and I had a buyer lined up so I opened and hooked it up to check it out (per his request) posted the video for him and then he backed out (crappy to say the least). Either way I don't play Playstation and have a basically new practically sealed in box system. The only issue I see is that the back of the box has a slight tear....basically the size of a pinkie fingernail.....that's it. I will include pics of everything if an offer comes through that's acceptable but was posting here more to see if anyone even has what I am looking for. Understand this is basically new right out of box and besides being turned on once...was never ever used. So what I am looking for is this stuff (I would consider combo trades if there is some of one thing and not another)......I may add to this list as well. I am mainly interested in the first 2 items on this list at this time...but would still love to talk about offers for the other things if you have them. I am going to let this posting run a week or so and see if there is any interest but will reply back as soon as I get your PM... 1. Large lot of 80's LOOSE (unboxed) M.A.S.K. toys ( I would be most interested in these toys being in good shape with most if not all of their pieces intact. They can be played with, that's fine, just in decent shape (not broken or parts missing). 2. Large lot of Laserdisks with the cardboard covers....a laserdisk player that works would be nice as well but would be looking for disks to be included with it. 3. 80's LOOSE Inhumanoids / Sectaurs Collection (Specifically items likeTendrill with both Tail Pieces and the HIVE Playset) 4. May consider LEGO Death Star 2 / or Star Destroyer (Large one) super set's 5. Other large lots of 80's Toys in good shape (He-man / Thundercats / Gi-Joe / Transformers ALL G1 please (Generation 1)...... Specially looking for Cobra - Hydrofoil / Cobra Velodrome / USS Flagg (Dreaming right Voltron with Die Cast Lions (Not the cars) With these above 80's toy's it will be hit or miss....sorry don't want to be picky but I have some stuff and would be more interested in bigger lots of stuff to make a display case of some kind 6. Only new thing offhand would be Batman Arkyum Asylum Harley Quinn Nurse figure NEW IN BOX Not really looking for any cash / gift cards or video gaming stuff at this time unless you have a: NES powerpak / Atari Harmony Cart / Colecovision multi-cart or Atari 5200 Multi-Cart to throw into some sort of mix. Could also possible consider a large lot of atari 2600 carts (but I have about 150 carts already,,,may be tough to figure out). Thanks for looking...Again I may not even pull this deal at this time as the unit has potential for a secondary Blu-Ray / netflix / emulation device down the road....but this could be an easy way to get an expensive and new system that you want for you or to resell for some stuff you have in boxes up in the attic..... PS - Lets not worry about shipping issues...I have cash to handle that if the deal is decent
