  1. Thanks very much @Ben from Plaion. I love this so much. I'm going to keep the box too.
  2. Wow, those are really cool looking. I love all these new but retro Atari products so much.
  3. Thank you so much! What an awesome port.
  4. Thanks so much! I'm happy to have it go to someone else, but I really do appreciate the contest and the conversation. Happy holidays to all!
  5. OH, for 2600+....more paddle games please! Enhanced version of Circus Atari (with balloons instead of squares for graphics). That homebrew version of Warlords!
  6. great news on the strong heart. Take it easy. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
  7. I'm impressed at how much of this you've figured out so far! Wow!
  8. No, it won't damage a set in any way. You may hear a small sparky crack when turning the 5200 on or off, but that's just the 4 port switchbox switching modes. Once you get it hooked up, you'll want to set your LCD TV to "Antenna" or "OTA" mode instead of "Cable" and then scan channels while the 5200 is powered on.
  9. Yes it would! The only issue would be that it gets painful to use that RF input with other systems. If the 5200 is the only thing you want to hook up, then it's fine.
  10. YES! That is the front end for MESS that I use. It's nice because it includes everything (ie - you don't have to install MAME separately), and it is updated constantly.
  11. This is a great question! Does your TV have an RF (antenna) input? Because that is going to be your best bet. 2 port 5200 on a modern LCD TV using RF works well for me! As far as emulation, I've had great luck with the MESS emulator.
  12. No worries at all. I've been to so many of them and volunteered a few times.
  13. Albert: I can help on Thursday afternoon if you need it. I am not attending the show at all this year because I'm leaving on a cruise Friday. However, if you need help and can get me in, I'm happy to assist.
  14. Cool, cool. Thanks for specifying. I used to design wire harnesses, and even then there would be confusion. I agree the standard is to describe it by the "pins", but not everyone follows.
