  1. Agree good offer problem is ePay/PayPal will eat ~20% leaving seller w/only ~$400… last I recall eBay charges sellers 12.55% of total purchase including s&h +$0.30 for every completed transaction. Then PayPal would charge ~5%-ish (less on larger transactions) so I rounded up to cover what I would me mandatory insurance & signature confirmation on something like this.

sorry to blabber on… in old days if you could work out a deal with seller off eBay an offer of a “true” $500-$600 w/o eBay fees probably gets you the item all in? eBay has really cracked down on this over the years but I’m sure many hear can chime in on work arounds. One way I can think of is buying a $5 game from seller & somehow figure out how to exchange email so you can go directly r through PayPal.

    Good Luck!

  2. ‘That 70’s show’ clearly has an episode where the Intellivision II CIB was shown on the shelf of a store. Don’t know what season/episode.

’National Lampoon’s Vacation’ actually had an Intellivision sound (don’t recall) when Clark was planning the Wally World trip.

’Grandma’s Boy’ a movie by Adam Sandler has a TON of Intellivision representation from Frog Bog challenge scene, to running man poster I believe, & approx. 12 or so CIB games surrounding the main character’s cubicle.

  3. No problem!

And I only realized after that this one is missing lid altogether & seller trying to make it like it’s no big deal. To me it is - it protects the 8-games from dust/dirt/etc.. very nicely. Then there is the nasty rust mark on bottom.

Not sure on value but if you can find one loose with lid in good condition (paperwork a big bonus), I think anything under $350 you may want to grab if you like condition.

What everyone else think several here may have additional info.

  4. Hi Popeye,

I bought one NIB from Italy >10 years ago & paid approx. $550 (box had small tear size of quarter), but it was NEW never used & had all paperwork, foam, etc.. I liked it because it’s rare but actually was a pretty neat invention BITD. Unlike a playable which obviously is cool but just a paper weight.

I would pass at that price because it’s not CIB. Something that rare better to buy one time CIB if you want it CIB. If you don’t care about box, manual, warranty card, etc. then make an offer you think is fair for working loose one. But NIB/CIB mint I would expect someone to pay up to $750-ish imo.
