      In a 10 minute commute each morning I can almost always find Hotel California or Don't Stop Believin. The one classic rock station does play Crazy Train a lot.

      I stopped watching all award shows many years ago. Not because of whatever politics they want to spout off about, but because they are boring and the equivalent of team mates slapping each others butt after a good play. If they want to pay me to be interested, I might reconsider.

    So, new contractor at work. Today's his 3rd day--he vanished at lunch yesterday and I somehow doubt I'll ever see him again. I suspect it will take weeks to get rid of him and that he'll be paid for not being here.

      Many years ago we were using a lot of Temps. One got to sit in an office. She would shut the door and not come out all day. They finally figured out after two weeks she was running her own temp agency all day and ignoring the assignments we gave her.

    Why are they now naming winter storms like they name hurricanes?

      I think the naming of any storms is dumb. It almost always ruins some poor kid's name unless you use something like hurricane Hitler.
