  1. I have a complete NTSC collection. I bought all the games when they were new, so nothing was to difficult. After the market crash in 84 I didn't want to miss out on any games, so ended getting complete collections for this and the Lynx. I stopped being a completist with the Jaguar.
  2. I've been absent from the forums for awhile because of work blocking this site. But I'm back and will be adding some of the folks here. My PSN ID is Atari_Warlord
  3. I bought a controller when it first came out, but haven't purchased any move only games. It just doesn't work with my setup. I have a projector and the PS3 behind me and if you stand up, it blocks the screen.
  4. I just went through this with my original 60GB. The thing that bummed me out the most was the hard drive was corrupted when it died and I lost all my game saves. Oh well, I moved over to a slim unit and sent the big boy to PSR for repair. I have it back but am not using it as the main unit anymore.
  5. I was saving money for a Honda motorcycle in 1977 when I saw a store display in Sears. I bought the 2600 and still don't have a motorcycle to this day. No regrets.
  6. Any chance for an additional control scheme that supports the booster grip? This would provide two separate buttons for jump and shoot.
  7. I love the 2 PS2 Katamari games. Right now this is in my top 5 most anticipated games for this year. It will be interesting to see what trophies they come up with. I never found all the items in the other games despite playing them for hours and hours. Just don't put in that damn 1,000,000 rose collecting task!
  8. I haven't checked the forums in a few days, I guess I learned my lesson. Please add me to the runner up list.
  9. The game only has text, no voice work. I bought the chinese version online from Playasia, which has a good reputation. The Chinese versions usually have english as a option because of Hong Kong.
  10. I like it, but I have eclectic taste. I find it is relaxing and takes some patience. I enjoy photography in real life so this is fun for me since I'll probably never go to Africa. I emailed National Geographic in December about the American release and they respond that the press release information was incorrect and they aren't releasing it. If you go to their site and look at the official press releases you'll notice they took the references out. They actually helped make the game since there are a lot of references to Nat Geo, but they said that Sony owns the publishing rights and its up to them. That's why I went ahead and bought the import from Playasia since Sony seems to think there isn't a market for these type of games in the west.
  11. It is the Asian version of Africa. It has English available unlike the Japanese release.
  12. I have the PS2 version, but would gladly pick up a high definition version. They left two of the tables off of the PS2 version that were on the Wii one, hopefully they are back on with some extra ones.
  13. Yes, I agree with you. I downloaded it over the weekend and although I think it should be priced at $5 I don't feel ripped off. It really felt like playing art.
  14. I'm currently rotating through a stack of games and hoping to complete some of them soon: 1. Little Big Planet 2. Hakuna Matata 3. Bioshock 4. GTA IV 5. Aquanauts Holiday 6. Quantum of Solace 7. Kung Fu Panda 8. Flower 9. Sega Genesis Collection I also throw Burnout back in the stack whenever new content is released. Other than Killzone 2, I don't see much in the next couple months that excites me, so I should be able to finish a few.
  15. I'm not a very social person, so was bored out of my mind. There's no way I would pay for stuff that doesn't add to game play ever.
  16. Here is my take on why Adventure is fun. Imagination! I get the exact same pleasure out of playing Grand Theft Auto IV as I do out of Adventure. Running around and doing random things and making up my own stories. Some people prefer games that are less open, and that is fine. Growing up with very few entertainment options, I learned to make my own fun, and I still enjoy it!
  17. Does the final score display after losing the last ship? All I could see was the text "Game Over".
  18. There is an option to have the music fade during conversations or phone calls that helps quite a bit. I'm loving the city and game so far at about 10% in. I'm glad they took out some of the tedious tasks but I really wish the music had been better. My favorite has been Vice City which I'm sure has to do with my age.
  19. I was just looking at the manual for the game that is posted on your site and had a good laugh that the premise is to fight the Vegans. I don't remember a big vegan movement in the 80's, but maybe I missed it? Anyway, I have a couple of family members who are vegans, so it cracked me up.
