  1. Sage, the version from your homepage writes *.lmd and *.o but no *.lnx and *.lyx. Am I doing something wrong?
  2. Alpine Games is 512 KB. I think there is a slideshow ROM which uses 1 MB. I'm also interested in your cart!
  3. Got mine for 17 Euros CIB curved lip from a video game convention 2 years ago. It was the only Lynx game the seller had to offer.
  4. The filesize of some homebrews is not equal to a power of 2. 93.4 KB for example. For those, it wouldn't work.
  5. The point is to have a Game Gear AND a superb screen with A/V input without carrying another TV with you!
  6. Gadget, it would be great if you could implement an option to pad the ROM size to 256 KB, because some homebrew .lnx ROMs are smaller than 128KB or 256 KB (Alien and Luchs3d for example) Also, an option to convert .o files to .lyx files would be great. But this is a little more complicated, I guess
  7. If it works with the TV-tuner, I order one!
  8. I bought a working Lynx 2 quite cheap. After a while, I recognised that button B is stuck (not physically, but electronically). Since I wanted to mod a Lynx 2 with McWill's screen, I chose this one, because I had to open it anyway. I cleaned the flexcircuit and the rubber pads of the buttons with alcohol and installed the new screen. Everything worked fine after reassembly for 2 months. Now, the right key on the steering cross is stuck (electronically) .... Any suggestions whats wrong?
  9. In your utility, where is the difference between: 128Kb -> 256Kb (EPYX / Mateos) and 128Kb -> 256Kb (BLL / Mateos) regarding Mateos Flashcart?
  10. From above cited Microsoft webpage: This is not a bug. It's a new Windows 8.1 feature.
  11. As for the new Duranik game I'd like: 1. Lotus / Outrun clone 2. Giana Sisters clone Dragon's Lair was visually stunning back in the days, but gameplay was too simple and repetitive
  12. Could you post the GG Mod instructions? Is it similar to the Lynx II Mod, or is it more complicated?
  13. It is no cart. It's just anti-static foam :-D
  14. Why do you want a new screen for the NGPC??? It's screen is great for playing outside. For indoor use you can do the frontlit mod.
  15. Why does anybody want to do this mod? Never change a running system! Look here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/238372-help-regulator-mod-gone-wrong/
  16. Weren't that evil Russians in Crystal Skull?
  17. This doesn't look too different from a normal Lynx II schematic. It still has: - 64 KB RAM - 16 MHz clock - motor on signal - 6 batteries So it seem this is just a variation of the known Lynx II schematic.
  18. I don't know if you are already taking preorders, but because everyone seems to reserve one here and I don't want to be the last: I buy one, too!
  19. OMG! The new cartridge design looks amazing I bought Alpine Games on the initial release. @Duranik: Is there an upgrade offer?
  20. Wouldn't a 4 Ohm speaker simply do the job? IIRC the Lynx 1 uses one and it has a real soundblast compared to Lynx 2. You should check if Lynx 1 and 2 use the same amplifier.
  21. Hi Eric! Welcome back to Atariage! Glad to see you back here. Have you seen the new LCD-replacement with VGA-out for the Lynx? I installed one and It's really amazing! I would be interested in an EOTB cart, too. Greetings, Twoface2
  22. Got mine and installed it last Sunday! I reserved 2 hours for the installation, but it took a little longer (6 hours, actually . But that comes from not being used to repairing Lynxes. Repaired a sticky button, too) The result ist absolutely amazing! :) A long dream of mine has finally come true! Only suggestion is that the backlight should be dimmable. For dark rooms etc. (not THAT dark room! ) . Also because the new display is still a little viewing angle dependant. Great job, McWill !!!
