Love Love Love this game! ...but... crappy week. Busy at work. Also, busy at my other work. Also, whole house is sick Got around to playing: 2448. :'( Not sure how much more time I can get. At least my new Tac-2 works great! Also, damn, bonus game! Need to play!

That sound? Me silently weeping as my sole HSC record falls to superior play... well done!

One last go (after our Annual Inventory, before the deadline) I do like that jaunty little tune, and the happy dance across the screen when you get a extra Do... So, the game started to grow on me a little. This and Mouse Trap I'd call playable from the Coleco catalog. Still not a fan of the venetian blind effect for both the playfield and character sprite, but at least he animates well.

Finally had the chance to play a couple games... not much of a showing, I'm afraid: Also, doesn't change my general opinion of COLECO... but it's not worse than the average.

17,800 ...never played before... hm.

Got to enjoy the whole shebang tonight at Stella's Lounge in Grand Rapids: Sure, it's not great, but at least I placed! High score for the day, at least. Definitely appreciate the differences, and still enjoy the ol' VCS rendition... boy, that Home Ostrich has some darn powerful wings! also... High Score on the 3rd quarter! .woot.

Oh, man! I traditionally have viewed Coleco games on the VCS as the WORST... I have 271 carts (and counting) but only 5 of their 13 games, of which this is not one! Hope I'm wrong, and this game is fun

New Personal Best: Also, much in Agreement with the Voodoo... lost 6 lives in a row trying to get above a pair of blues when I respawned on a level with the central platforms. As for the floating eggs, well, I've got to say I kind of like that touch! Makes this port unique, and just that extra bit o' difficult (even if it defies all logic). -----------------edit------------------------ WAIT WAIT a little better! Also, does anyone know the programming reason for the 'dead man's gulch' effect on the side gutters? [side thought: I'm hitting Stella's Lounge in Grand Rapids on Saturday. ...Plan on breaking their in-house Q*Bert record... Can't remember if they have a Joust cabinet...]

So much for the torture of Jr. First night playing, and I already hit my personal high score from last time. This bodes well for the week!

If you can snag 15K on the first level, you'll get an extra life. (Somehow hitting 15K after clearing the level doesn't trigger the bonus life?!?) So, keep at it!

You rolled it back in 2011's Season 9, Oyama, as I recall. I'll just be happy if I can top my score from then... going to be another tough week after the whupping from everyone on Jr Pac-Man!

My new bump looks almost like my last score. Clearly, not my game... Also. My wife is getting scared by these amount of grunting and inarticulate screaming this game drags from the pre-human depths of my genetic code... not sure how much more she'll let me torture myself before switching to the refined medievalism of Joust:

Love having this. One minor point, though... I TOTALLY rolled Yars' Revenge that week. One of the highlights of my gaming life! And since I'm not all over the record book, I don't feel too bad about pointing out that one omission

Minor improvements are likely all I'll get. Don't see more than 30K possible for myself.

Game is positively Hobbesian: nasty, brutish, and short! I'll clear the second stage eventually... Scratch that first pic; improving already tonight!

Almost rolled the score my first try, only to realize my switches were on 'B' ... Halfway there on the correct settings! Also, did the forums update since last I played? I can no longer attach an image that isn't already uploaded to my AA profile.
