  1. Well, according to the stuff I saw from FarSight Terminator 2 was planned as a June table a little bit back here in one my newsletters on their updates forum.Haven't heard about doing a Kickstarter for it.I've been hearing now Cactus Canyon and another are coming in June.I think, things are still a bit mixed up at FarSight yet.
  2. Just came across this on The Games Cabin here for new news and rumors. Check out: www.vgleaks.com/durango-xdk/ Peace out.
  3. I remember seeing it here or on the Pinball Arcade Fans site -- www.pinballarcadefans.com/ back in May '12 or something here.It was stated as coming in November '12,many here and other places were looking forward to it.So was I.
  4. Yeah. It also sounds like FarSight is losing ground because of them dragging their feet and their inner problems with staff screwing the company over.I'm thinking they're in trouble here in all reality. They had better not have another release lull here.I think,it might be quite telling on their future as a developer and with TPA fans. They're already losing and have lost 360 fans here.
  5. Same here. As a very avid player of pins since the 70s,I never came across this machine before in the 90s or after.IIRC.I came across every other game out there pretty much though. ST:TNG on the Vita is fun, also a little bland too.It is neat at times but,I think the detail is a little off. Also, the thing drains too damn much down the center and the sides for my liking. Any news on The Addams Family at all??That was announced earlier last year as coming in Nov. '12,what happened to it?I want to see it and Gilligan's Island here on my Vita in TPA.Yeah,I know,we're getting Attack From Mars and Genie here on 3/26 but, what about some other stuff I heard about??Pinball Arcade Fans and the FarSight site are okay and all for info,it's just I want to see even more info than we're getting.Tee'd Off has been announced but,it seems,we may have a TPA lull here until May or June after we get Mars and Genie next week.Sigh. That's not good to hear for me as a TPA fan and a fan of FarSight's products. It sounds like things are going back to what we had last year and earlier this year -- waiting for tables.I thought, they said (FarSight) "We're getting releases back on schedule and regular as announced last year." I think,FarSight is spreading itself TOO THIN across TOO MANY different units to keep up with their announced "vision" they had last year.I hope,it doesn't spell doom for the neat "arcade" that they've so far delivered and taken upon themselves to try and deliver to everyone out there.Time will tell.I just think a supposed 2 month lull sounds bad on the surface for them between releases again.
  6. PSVITA & Zen Pinball 2: Star Wars Pinball

  7. I don't know. Most of what I've heard so far seems authentic on them.I'll hook my two pairs of high quality headphones up and try them all out again here. I'm looking forward to the next seven tables they have coming up here. They also have 2 or 3 more based on the new movies by Disney and Lucas coming too. Can't wait.
  8. According to the GI Zen article,Lucas gave them full access to his library of SW images and sounds to make these tables from.Everything is supposed to be very much on the level,as Zen wanted a thoroughly authentic experience like the movies were in the theaters.Supposedly, all the actors involved with the originals were "all in" for these to happen, even new voice samples were done for Zen if they were needed for all 10 of these tables.Did they use some extras instead? Not according to Zen and the open arrangement they had with Lucas Arts for "anything" they needed while making them.
  9. I DLed this and it isn't too bad at all.You get three tables -- Star Wars Ep. 5,Star Wars:The Clone Wars and Boba Fett. Ep. 5 and The Clone Wars are my favorites so far. There is a nice article about Zen Studios in the March issue of Game Informer now here fans should check out.According to the article,Zen has 7 more SW tables coming during 2013,also possibly an Indiana Jones one coming and a couple of surprises! These seem to be pretty good overall, just a tad repetitive at times is my complaint. The visuals and effects are pretty neat though!
  10. Yeah,I received a GPS unit for a PSP a few years back here, neat item. I always thought the TV tuner would've been neat too here in the US as I have them for Game Gear and Turbo Express and they are neat. They never generally sold well here though. The last one i remember here was for Game Boy Advance and it was only available at Babbage's and stuff for a short time, most places didn't even carry them too.
  11. There are some foreign ones we don't hear much about in the States too,Ridge Racer II was done for the Euorpeans and I found out about it a couple years ago. There were foreign Special Edition models of the PSP that the States never saw, either.
  12. I tried the demo some and thought it seemed a bit too Sonic like in some ways and a bit too drawn out for me. As I never got it for PSP I thought I'd try it a little on Vita, kind of meh for me as a title. Possibly the full version could be a little better, just didn't want to try a copy.
  13. TZ is just okay.It is neat thoiugh. I'm sort of disappointed in Scared Stiff with the botched camera and viewing on Vita.I played a real machine this last Sat.and this Vita version isn't the same or as good as other TPA titles have been so far. I had more fun with the real machine last Sat. I haven't tried Big Shot just yet, loved it on my PSP's Gottlieb Collection though.
  14. I wasn't aware of the fact that it was that rare and hard to come by myself.I found Lemmings and a couple others harder to get really.Being South of Chicago,I found lynx around, just not everyone carried it or alot of it at times.
  15. I have a copy I got new back in 1995 at Waldensoftware for $39.95. Yeah, not everyone had these for sale but I do remember that Toy R Us had all the Telegames stuff back in the 90s.I think Circus World,K-B and Electronics Boutique had them too.I don't remember seeing them at Childrens Palace as some I visited only carried the Lynx unit itself. I have the curved version with the full Lynx manual,multi-language one,I think.
  16. Sony has done this for a few years here, sort of on that level in a way. Since 2008/9 PSP and now Vita (PS3 too, i believe) used games are locked out of being able to be used on PSN in infrastructure multi-player gaming unless you spend and extra $10/$15 dollars after you bought the thing at GameStop or etc or off your friend giving you/selling you their copy.Sony tries to get players going and coming,it seems.LOL.Isn't the point of buying or getting something used a way to try and save money?I always thought it was! This is why I avoid buying used PSP and Vita stuff if it offers more than single player/Ad Hoc gaming on it.I'm not paying Sony/PSN another possible $15 bucks after I get home and log on to enjoy my used purchase on PSN with other gamers.!!THAT IS TOTAL CRAP on Sony's part,I think.Total BS.I'll buy it new or in the clearance bin or NOS style at a flea market before I do that crap.LOL
  17. Yeah,it ends on Day 61 with the newspaper and the skyscraper and cure beaker is on the 62nd Level. Rampage is very fun with 2 or 4 comlynxed.Had quite a bit of with it in the past. It can get a bit drawn out playing it through that long though. It gets a bit repetitive.
  18. May I chime in? There is one thing that could somehow happen here that the U.S. government did implement in 2005 and that Sony,M$,Ninty or etc. could take a page from, you know. Starting with ALL new electronics being manufactured in 2005 they were required to have a GPS location chip installed in them for "emergency use considerations" for law enforcement,CIA,FBI and etc, etc, etc on that front.Fill in the blank however you like on that one there. I'm not sure if any of this applies to U.S. ally cell phones and the like overseas for sure,if at all. But,just ponder that thought a bit,if you will there,man..... Doesn't that sound a bit like spying on one's cell phone,iPhone,iPad,iPod,notebook,PSP,DS,3DS,Vita,TV and any other device we all might own at home or take abroad with us at times? It sure as Hell does to me!Is that a bit scary or not for you?It should on a certain level,I think. All right, now apply that to your DS,3DS,Vita,Wii,360 or PS3 stuff on some level, what could you have there?Could you have disc or cartridge and unit pairing somehow? On even the smallest level, possibly?Could it happen?Could a security tag/sticker/chip/micro dot or GPS chip be in or end up in your cart or on your disc?Is it already there?Think about it!Being able to track cartridges and discs by them being near the proprietary unit they go to while online,in a hot spot or around some network. What have you got?Is that invasion of privacy? Is that spying or whatever you want to call it?Is that tracking ownership somehow, even if you don't register that product? Just consider the possibilities.... Am I only being an alarmist?Possibly. Then again,it could happen or be happening now. Some of it is already going on,isn't it?
  19. Have you looked at Death Jr 1 & 2? How about Dead Head Fred, too?
  20. Yeah,I've played TPA FunHouse a bit myself and.... it is an odd animal to me when compared to my MUCH enjoyed previousPSP version on PHOF:TWC! Playing the TPA version is nicer on the graphic side for me and all but,the way it plays is strange.I've had my ball go right in and right out the back of Rudy at times! Why did they change these tables from the established ones we had with TWC? To Hell with changing these tables for the worst and ruining the fun factor for us. I think,we need an *update* for some of our updates here!I'm thinking they don't have pin gamers at FarSight now on some of this stuff.I found TWC more realistic to play mostly myself, and the PSP version didn't seem to have the glitchiness, either. It wasn't perfect but,it was fun for me.... possibly more fun than TPA is at times for me. This is sad too, man. When FarSight has been telling us their *vision* is/was to offer us that all inclusive *arcade experience* no matter what platform we chose to experience said arcade on. This has no been meant to be a rant but,to voice a concern by me concerning TPA having it's cheese slide off it's cracker a bit,i think. The graphic realism of TPA is *there*,it just needs to be less buggy for me,too. And,yes I'll probably grab Scared Stiff and Big Shot here in a few days to play -- seeing how much I loved playing Scared Stiff when I crossed paths with a machine.
  21. Anyone else notice some glitchiness on some of the last 4 tables that were released for PS3/Vita? Is it just me or am I wrong in seeing that these seem to drain badly at times and there are flipper drain problems and some rather unrealistic ball movements on the field of Elvira and Taxi at least.Any others having problems?
  22. Don't forget Gates,Todd,Alpine,and also S.T.U.N. Runner.Road Riot does pretty good too.
